The day the Democrats took over was not January 22nd 2009, when Obama became President. It was actually January 3rd, 2007, two years earlier, when the Democrats took control with large majorities over both the House of Representatives and the Senate, at the very start of the 110th Congress. At that point the Democratic Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995. Obama was now part of that Democrat Senate.

For those who are listening to Democrats saying that everything is "Bush's Fault," think about this:

January 3rd, 2007, the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress:
The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77
The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%
The Unemployment rate was 4.6%
George Bush's Economic policies were the foundation for A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB CREATION.

Remember that day...
January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank(D) took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd(D) took over the Senate Banking Committee. They became the Chairmen.

The economic meltdown that happened later was in BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES.

Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid are largely responsible for taking us from nearly 13,000 DOW, 3.5 GDP growth, and 4.6% Unemployment...into this CRISIS. Among MANY other things, they ordered 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans be forced into the economy. They became virtually worthless after their ultra-liberal and fiscally irresponsible Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac mandates and policies blew up. The ones that ordered that everyone is entitled to a house...no credit checks...no money down....that’s the “fair” way to run the U.S. housing and banking system. Oh yeah, and be sure to bundle up all those trillions of dollars of risky loans and sell them as investment securities to pension funds, retirees, whoever they could unload them on. Those were the toxic loans that wiped out investors and sank the banks.

President Bush asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie & Freddie because it was financially risky for the US economy to operate housing financing that way. Barney Frank(D) blocked it and called it Bush’s objections "Chicken Little Philosophy". He said the sky would not fall.

And guess who took the THIRD highest pay-off, campaign contributions, from Fannie Mae AND Freddie Mac? OBAMA.

And who fought against attempts to reform Fannie and Freddie? OBAMA, and the Democrat Congress. And three former heads of Freddie and Fannie, all disgraced and forced to resign, are Obama’s chief economic advisors at this moment.

So when someone tries to blame Bush...
REMEMBER JANUARY 3rd, 2007....
THE DAY THE DEMOCRATS TOOK OVER CONTROL OF CONGRESS.

Bush may have been in the car but, the Democrats were in charge of the economic gas pedal and the banking steering wheel as the economy was driven into the ditch.

Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress, and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democrat Party.

Furthermore, the Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008 & 2009 as well as 2010 & 2011. In that first year, they had to contend with President Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush got tough on their spending increases.

For 2009, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed President Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009 budget, and which they have done repeatededly since, passing not one budget, as required by law in all that time. Where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete 2009.

Let's remember what the deficits looked like during that period:
If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the LOWEST in five years, and the FOURTH STRAIGHT DECLINE in deficit spending! After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for every budget.

If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself. In a nutshell, what Obama has done is inherited a deficit that he voted for, and then insisted on increasing that deficit four-fold since January 20th, 2009 as President.

"The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by those who vote for a living."

We had a call from the nurses station at St. Joseph Hospital this morning as we were getting ready to start Sunday School They were taking brother Skip into surgery due to a cardiac event. We stopped everything and had a season of prayer. Rick went on to bring a good study in SS on "The Shepherd's Trilogy" and "Matthew Falls Sick." Pastor preached on "The Christian and Politics" audio in the AM worship service and on Acts 17, "Going To Greece" in the afternoon service. audio

When Pastor got home after the services today he called the nurses station to check on Skip. The nurse said he was doing very well and was on dialysis at the moment and that it would be just fine for Pastor to come for a visit. AMEN! Thanks the Lord for another AP (answered prayer)

Three years ago today in an ordinary report from the Chicago Mercantile Report, CNBC's Rick Santelli began sounding off about our government's actions and and their real effects. Santelli's remarks sparked what is known today as the Tea Party Movement. "Santellii's RANT" began with these words, "The government is promoting bad behavior." Here are some more excerpts.

They told Joe that they were not pleased that he posted an update and photos from our petition delivery to his office demonstrating widespread grassroots support for the Sheriff's lawful actions to uphold the law.

The DOJ basically tried to bully Sheriff Joe into taking down any mention of the petition delivery!

Toss in a quarter million hunters in West Virginia and it literally establishes the fact that the hunters of those four states alone would comprise the largest army in the world.

The point?

That's why all enemies, foreign and domestic, want to see us disarmed.

'An old pastor lay dying. He sent a message for an IRS agent and his lawyer
to come to the hospital. When they arrived, they were ushered up to his
room. As they entered the room, the pastor held out his hands and motioned
for them to sit on each side of the bed.

The pastor grasped their hands, sighed contentedly, smiled, and stared at
the ceiling. For a time, no one said anything. Both the IRS agent and lawyer
were touched and flattered that the old man would ask them to be with him

Bad press, including major mockery of the play by comedian Jon Stewart, led to President Obama abandoning his proposal to require veterans carry private health insurance to cover the estimated $540 billion annual cost to the federal government of treatment for injuries to military personnel received during their tours on active duty. The President admitted that he was puzzled by the magnitude of the opposition to his proposal.

"Look, it's an all volunteer force," Obama complained. "Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice ? It doesn't compute.." "I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country, "Obama continued "I wasn't asking for blood, just money. With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I'd have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to try to help reduce the nation's deficit..I guess I underestimated the selfishness of some of my fellow Americans."

· $38.6 Billion in loan guarantees with $17.2 billion spent created 3,545 jobs – cost $4,800,000 per job as reported by the Washington Post

Marriage

Washington State Senate will spend a majority of the day today considering legislation to redefine marriage. A majority of the State Senate has already publicly stated that they plan to support the bill.

A number of amendments are expected to be offered during the course of the debate, including amendments to offer protection to individuals and businesses that do not want to be forced to rent facilities or provide services in advancement of a same-sex "marriages".

The Senate is also expected to hear amendments that would allow the public to vote on the definition of marriage.

If you are near Olympia, you are encouraged to come to the capitol and fill the galleries and make sure the Senate knows you are watching.

The House of Representative is expected to consider the same bill on Friday.

If the bill passes the legislature without the legislature giving the people a chance to vote on the issue, a referendum will be filed and signatures will be gathered to allow a vote

The Sanctity of Life

This is Sanctity of Life month. That was the title of the Sermon this morning at TLBC. Go to the website and listen to the audio of the message. We don't always agree with Catholic dogma but when they stand for the Sanctity of Life, we believe that is a correct position and we were surprised to hear what one of their traditionally pro-life schools has done.

While thousands of pro-life Americans prepare to attend the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C., the Jesuit University of Scranton, located in Pennsylvania, makes very different preparations.

Former Congresswoman and avowed abortion advocate Marjorie Margolies has been invited to give the keynote speech at the University of Scranton’s Ready to Run: Campaign Training for Women program. The event is scheduled on January 28, according to the university’s web site.

On January 13, the bishop of Scranton, the Most Rev. Joseph C. Bambera, issued a formal statement and asked that the invitation be withdrawn. But his request was rebuffed by university officials.

The obama administration told U.S. owned Hawker Beechcraft earlier this week they are being excluded from bidding on the US Air Force contract for a light attack aircraft. That leaves Brazilian owned Embraer as the likely recipient of the lucrative deal. I found this one hard to believe so I did a little research. It was tough because this was completely ignored by the main stream media. The information is out there on several conservative sites. Please see the two articles linked below.

This is a double slap in the face of the United States. At a time when jobs, the economy, and security are the most critical priorities for our country, the Obama administration decides to send a defense contract to a foreign owned company.
This has to be the stupidest thing this administration has done to date. This is not just a dumb decision, it is a perfect example of why this president is such a poor leader. He talks about wanting jobs. He says we need to force companies to repatriate billions of dollars that Americans keep overseas. He wants to raise taxes so he can spend billions on stimulus that does nothing to stimulate anything.
And when it’s time to act, he sends our tax dollars overseas at the expense of American jobs and income for an American company. This is nothing more than a Chicago-style political pay back; but this time it is at the expense of our national security.

How much more damage will obama be allowed to do in the next 14 months? One of the lead stories in the media this week blasted congress for insider trading. If this contract goes to Embraer it will be a huge pay off to another George Soros company.
When will the 4th estate do it’s constitutionally protected job and expose the real obama to the American people?

Keep your eye on Waukesha, Wisconsin... Their biggest employer just moved out.

General Electric is planning to move its 115-year-old X-ray division from Waukesha, Wis., to Beijing.

In addition to moving the headquarters, the company will invest $2 billion in China and train more than 65 engineers and create six research centers. This is the same GE that made $5.1 billion in the United States last year. but paid no taxes - the same company that employs more people overseas than it does in the united States.

So let me get this straight. President Obama appointed GE CEO Chairman Jeff Immelt to head his commission on job creation (job czar). Immelt is supposed to help create jobs. I guess the President forgot to tell him in which country he was supposed to be creating those jobs.

If this doesn't show you the total lack of leadership of this President, I don't know what does.

The facts are not in dispute. A four-star general has testified to Congress that he was pressured by the White House to alter his testimony to make it friendlier to a broadband company backed by a major Democratic donor.

The problem with LightSquared's new wireless project is that it could disrupt all military communications and GPS. But what worth has the entire capacity of the military's communication system against the pleadings of LightSquared's biggest investor, Philip Falcone, who shovels cash to Obama?

TWO - Fast and Furious: No matter how many times you hear the facts they never get less sickening or bizarre. The United States Department of Justice deliberately ran thousands of guns to Mexican drug cartels, which then used them to commit at least 11 violent crimes in the US and 200 violent crimes in Mexico. A Fast and Furious gun was used to murder U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and possibly U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent Jaime Zapata.

ATF Agent Vince Cefalu was fired for whistleblowing about this surreal horror show. Attorney General Eric Holder perjured himself to Congress, pretending he knew nothing about it. And newly released emails confirm that the motivation for supplying weapons to Mexico's most violent criminals was to use the ensuing chaos to enact stricter gun control laws here.

Not content to unleash murder and mayhem, the Department of Justice also went into the money-laundering racket, washing clean millions of dollars for Mexico's drug cartels. Your tax dollars at work! And while this evil madness was raging, Obama conducted a hysterical campaign against Sarah Palin for using an image of a target on her website.

THREE - Giving Top-Secret Technology to Our Enemies: Last week brought word that Obama is planning to share U.S. missile defense secrets with Russia, over the strenuous objections of security officials who say it could devastate the effectiveness of our entire defense system. They also fear Russia will share our secrets with China, Iran and North Korea.

Remember how Obama's Mommy and Daddy met in Russian class? If only they could see their little boy now.

Obama also gave a freebie of our most classified intelligence to Iran, refusing all three options to destroy a downed U.S. drone. Instead, he let the mullahs paw their way through our most sensitive high-tech secrets. Not to worry -- he did politely ask them to give it back.

FOUR - Waging War Against Libya Without Congressional Approval: Obama's handlers dreamed up a catchy new doctrine called Responsibility to Protect (R2P), and they were itching to try it out. So Obama gave them a nice, peppy little war to conduct in Libya. Why not take out the mad transvestite, Qadaffi? Nobody likes him, anyway.

Flagrantly flouting the War Powers Resolution, Obama spent a billion dollars to wage an unconstitutional war. The grand result is Al Qaeda's flag waving over Benghazi and 20,000 anti-aircraft missiles missing, which will probably wind up blasting towards us.

FIVE - Hollowing Out Our Military: This week we learn that Obama is slashing the defense budget, planning to lay off 14% off our troops, reduce our nuclear arsenal, shelve key weapon systems and explicitly cripple our ability to wage ground wars. What hath Saul Alinsky wrought!

Already, Obama has strait-jacketed the military in political correctness, forbidding discussion of the nature of radical Islam and sanitizing the jihad-crazed murder of 13 soldiers at Fort Hood into "workplace violence." But that was not enough for our Commander-in-Chief.

Our troops are so heroic that even in straitjackets, they can win. And if there's one thing Obama will not tolerate it's American victory.

We all need spread the word in earnest that it’s time for a new president.

If one needs any facts just look what happened this week

Four recess appointments when the Congress was not in session.

This represents a total disregard for the Constitution, separation of powers, and the Justice Department ruling during the Clinton Administration that ruled recess appointments could only be made after the Senate has been recessed for 3 days.

In fact the Dodd Frank legislation that President Obama signed, specifically states the director of the new Consumer Protection Agency must be confirmed by the Senate.

One would expect this type of governance from a banana republic dictator who when they do not get their way will run rough shod over the law. Where in the heck did we get this guy?

I hadn't thought about this - but where are Obama's past girlfriends? Surely he had at least one? No past girl friends popping up anywhere? Strange - strange to the point of being downright weird!

OK, this is just plain old common sense, no political agendas for either side. Just common knowledge for citizens of a country, especially American citizens, who know every little tidbit about every other president (and their wives) that even know that Andrew Jackson's wife smoked a corn cob pipe and was accused of adultery, or that Lincoln never went to school or Kennedy wore a back brace, or Truman played the piano.

We are Americans! Our media vets these things out! We are known for our humanitarian interests and caring for our 'fellow man.' We care, but none of us know one single humanizing fact about the history of our own president.

Honestly, for years that no one who ever dated him ever showed up. Taken his charisma, which caused the women to be drawn to him so obviously during his campaign, looks like some lady would not have missed the opportunity.

We all know about JFK's magnetism, McCain was no monk, Palin's courtship and even her athletic prowess were probed. Biden's aneurisms are no secret. Look at Cheney and Clinton-we all know about their heart problems. How could I have left out Wild Bill before or during the White House?

Nope... not one lady has stepped up and said, "He was soooo shy," or "What a great dancer!" Now look at the rest of what we know... no classmates, not even the recorder for the Columbia class notes ever heard of him

Who was the best man at his wedding? Start there. Check for groomsmen. Then get the footage of the graduation ceremony.

Has anyone talked to the professors? Isn't it odd that no one is bragging that they knew him or taught him or lived with him.

When did he meet Michele and how? Are there photos? Every president provides the public with all their photos, etc. for their library. What has he released? Nada - other than what was in this so-called biography! And experts who study writing styles etc. claim it was not O's own words or typical of his speech patterns, etc.

Does this make you wonder? Ever wonder why no one ever came forward from Obama's past, saying they knew him, attended school with him, was his friend, etc? Not one person has ever come forward from his past.

This should really be a cause for great concern. Did you see the movie titled, The Manchurian Candidate?

Let's face it. As insignificant as we all are... someone whom we went to school with remembers our name or face... someone remembers we were the clown or the dork or the brain or the quiet one or the bully or something about us.

George Stephanopoulos, ABC Newssaid the same thing during the 2008 campaign. Even George questions why no one has acknowledged that the president was in their classroom or ate in the same cafeteria or made impromptu speeches on campus. Stephanopoulos was a classmate of Obama at Columbia-class of 1984. He says he never had a single class with him. Since he is such a great orator, why doesn't anyone in Obama's college class remember him? And, why won't he allow Columbia to release his records? Do you like millions of others, simply assume all this is explainable - even though no one can?

NOBODY REMEMBERS OBAMA AT COLUMBIA

Looking for evidence of Obama's past, Fox News contacted 400 Columbia University students from the period when Obama claims to have been there, but not one remembers him. For example, Wayne Allyn Root was (like Obama) a political science major at Columbia , who graduated in 1983. In 2008, Root says of Obama, "I don't know a single person at Columbia that knew him, and they all know me. I don't have a single classmate who ever knew Barack Obama at Columbia ... EVER!

Nobody recalls him. Root adds that he was, "Class of '83 political science, pre-law" and says, "You don't get more exact or closer than that.. Never met him in my life, don't know anyone who ever met him." At our 20th class reunion five years ago, who was asked to be the speaker of the class? Me. No one ever heard of Barack! And five years ago, nobody even knew who he was. The guy who writes the class notes, who's kind of the, as we say in New York , 'the macha' who knows everybody, has yet to find a person, a human who ever met him."

Obama's photograph does not appear in the school's yearbook, and Obama consistently declines requests to talk about his years at Columbia, provide school records, or provide the name of any former classmates or friends while at Columbia.

How can this be?

NOTE: Wayne Allyn Root can easily be verified. He graduated valedictorian from his high school, Thornton-Donovan School , then graduated from Columbia University in 1983 as a Political Science major in the same '83 class in which Barack Hussein Obama states he was.

Why was Obama's law license inactivated in 2002?

Why was Michelle's law license inactivated by court order?

According to the U.S. Census, there is only one Barack Obama - but 27 Social Security numbers and over 80 aliases.. WHAT!?
The Social Security number he uses now originated in Connecticut where he is never reported to have lived. No wonder all his records are sealed!

Somewhere, someone had to know him in school... before he "reorganized" Chicago and burst upon the scene at the 2004 Democratic Convention and made us swoon with his charm, poise, and speaking pizzazz. It's one of the biggest CONS this country has ever seen. This is not right on many levels! It makes one wonder how we have been sooooo easily lead.....!

The UN is ruthlessly advancing a new plan that will make America a HOSTAGE to the United Nations. It is AGENDA 21.

Here's how the UN describes it:

"Effective execution of Agenda 21 will require a profound reorientation of all human society, unlike anything the world has ever experienced a major shift in the priorities of both governments and individuals and an unprecedented redeployment of human and financial resources. This shift will demand that a concern for the environmental consequences of every human action be integrated into individual and collective decision-making at every level."

It's already happening right now.
Obama, who has vowed to "fundamentally transform America," is pushing to implement this freedom-grabbing plan UNDER THE RADAR.

On June 9, 2011 he signed EXECUTIVE ORDER 13575 and established the White House Rural Council (WHRC). This new administrative body is responsible for federally coordinating and implementing sustainable and green development locally.
Here is an excerpt from EO 13575:

Section 1. Policy- Sixteen percent of the American population lives in rural counties. Strong, sustainable rural communities are essential to winning the future and ensuring American competitiveness in the years ahead.

"Sustainable" became a buzzword at the UN's 1992 Earth Summit in Brazil (where Agenda 21 was created). Sustainable = Agenda 21
Mike Opelka of The Blaze reports:

"Warning bells should have been sounding all across rural America when the phrase "sustainable rural communities" came up. As we know from researching the UN plan for Sustainable Development known as Agenda 21, these are code words for the true fundamental transformation America."

UN Agenda 21 is a transnational attempt to erode property rights, destroy freedom and make America submissive to foreign bureaucrats.

Our staff has painstakingly documented and analyzed how the leftist press have been systematically savaging every potential conservative standard bearer who has emerged on the national stage.

We all know how they ruthlessly attacked Sarah Palin.

Donald Trump is no conservative, but the media thought he was and crushed him the minute he looked like a threat to Barack Obama and his socialist agenda.

Then it was Michele Bachmann. Texas Governor Rick Perry. Herman Cain. And of course, Newt Gingrich.

The moment his national approval ratings around the country jumped, the liberal media pounced, looking for any and every piece of dirt they could find on him.

In some cases, members of the liberal media didn’t even try to hide their mission to destroy Newt.

As was detailed in the December 7, 2011 MRC “BiasAlert,” former Newsweek editor Howard Fineman trashed Newt Gingrich as a mad bomber, smearing,

“...Newt's main appeal and his main skill is as a guy who knows exactly where to put the explosive device to blow up the bridge."

An even more outrageous example comes from Noel Sheppard writing in MRC’s newsbusters.org. Noel exposed how Aaron Blake of The Washington Post’s “The Fix,” a political blog, sent out a mass tweet asking for,

“outlandish/incorrect predictions and quotes from Newt Gingrich.”

This same tactic was used by the Post against Sarah Palin in June.

The bottom line is this: The majority of the leftist press are no longer hiding their bias or even pretending to be objective.

Anyone or anything deemed a threat to the media’s socialist agenda has been -- and will continue to be throughout 2012 -- smashed, ridiculed, smeared and demonized by the leftist press.

Think also about how they continue to demonize the Tea Party movement as “right-wing extremists,” “racists,” “hostage-takers,” “terrorists,” and “spoiled teenagers”...

... compared to how they lavished praise on the anti-capitalist anarchists that made up the phony and (contrary to media portrayal) tiny “Occupy Wall Street” rabble.

Most of all, think about how the likes of Chris Matthews, The New York Times and NPR have helped the liberals frame the 2012 election agenda as a battle between “the haves” and “have nots.”

Honestly, in all my years in grassroots activism, I have NEVER seen the media play the “Class Warfare Card” so openly, aggressively and shamefully!

Case in point?

As was also detailed in that December 7 MRC “BiasAlert,” former Associated Press writer Ron Fournier praised Barack Obama's call for higher taxes as,

“...one of his best, a searing and historically poignant account of the greatest challenge of the American experiment: How do we give every citizen, rich or poor, a path to the good life?"

Yes, according to Ron Fournier and most of his liberal media colleagues, the only way to create jobs and expand economic opportunity is to raise taxes, handcuff the free enterprise system and punish hard-working successful Americans.

If you agree, then you are deemed one of the “adults in the room.”

If not, then you are “anti-middle class,” “anti-worker,” “anti-America,” “anti-minority” and a “right-wing, greedy, Tea Party extremist” who hates Barack Obama more than you love your country.

In essence, that is how Chris Matthews, George Stephanopoulos, Christiane Amanpour and the leftist press plan on framing the 2012 elections.

Us against them. Rich against poor. Black against white.

It is despicable –- and the time has truly come to say enough is enough.

I am sure you agree.

In Wednesday's message, I detailed how we plan to answer these distortions and attacks, but I can’t do it without the generous support of conservative Americans.

Kagan says YOU don't have what it takes

She says, "So What If My Actions Are Lawless... What Are You Gonna Do, Impeach Me?"

Elena Kagan's lawlessness is so clear that even her fellow liberals, like Eric Segall, a liberal law professor at Georgia State University, are no longer denying it.

Segall recently wrote in Slate Magazine:"Doing the right thing is easy when nothing important is at stake. Doing the right thing is much harder when there is a lot to lose. Elena Kagan is a loyal Democrat who owes her Supreme Court appointment to President Barack Obama. She is poised to review the constitutionality of Obama’s health care statute, which, if invalidated, might do serious damage to his re-election campaign as well as the Democratic Party. ... Elena Kagan should recuse herself from hearing challenges to the act."

But Kagan's not interested in doing the right thing. Why should she be? After all, NOT doing the right thing is also easy when no one stands up to you. That must change right now. Our elected leaders must draw a line in the sand. If they don't, the Regime, will only become more brazen in its lawlessness with each passing day.

It's time to force the issue. It's time to put a stop to this lawlessness and start doing the right thing here and now by calling for the immediate impeachment of Elena Kagan.

Let me tell you a story I think will anger you.

Owen and Eunice Johns live in Great Britain. They are the kind of people you really want your kids to grow up to be like. They're the kind of people you wish you had for neighbors. They're the kind of people you wish your church was full of.

While they raised four children of their own, the Johns understood that pure and undefiled religion before God is looking after orphans and widows in their need. So they answered the call. They became foster parents to 15 children. Many of their adopted children were older kids-teenagers-who have the most difficult time finding a "forever family."

You may be wondering where is the bad part of this happy story.

Well, recently the Johns were told by the government in Great Britain that they were no longer qualified to be foster parents to children who had no home.

As in most places around the world, Great Britain has a shortage of homes willing to take children who cannot live with their own parents. There are 10,000 children waiting to be placed.

What did they do that disqualified them from being able to provide care to orphans? Were they beating the children in their care? Were children complaining that they were being neglected while living with the Johns? No.

The reason the British government says the Johns can no longer be foster parents is that they are unwilling to tell the children in their care that homosexuality is a morally equivalent lifestyle to heterosexuality. According to the British high court, "traditional Christian views about sexuality are harmful to children."

I'm sure you are as outraged by this as I am. But the point here is not simply to be outraged. We need to understand why the Johns story matters to all of us here in Washington state.

You see, Washington State is seriously considering legislation to redefine marriage. If we allow this legislation to pass in Washington, that will not mean the end for the quest for "sexual freedom."

In truth, the debate over same-sex "marriage" has never really been about marriage. The debate over marriage is simply a small part of a larger effort to eradicate from the public square the idea that there is a difference between homosexual and heterosexual relationships.

That is why the Johns are no longer able to be foster parents. They did not mistreat anyone. They were simply unwilling to surrender their beliefs.

The goal of normalizing homosexuality throughout culture cannot be accomplished if there is not a corresponding marginalization of biblical views about sexuality and restrictions on expressing those ideas. That is why our freedoms are at stake.

You may not have heard about the death of a 98-year-old lady named Irena Sendler.

During WWII, Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw Ghetto, as a Plumbing/Sewer specialist. She had an ulterior motive...
She KNEW what the Nazi's plans were for the Jews, (being German). Irena smuggled infants out in the bottom of her tool box she carried, and she also carried in the back of her truck a Burlap sack, (for larger kids). She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto.

The soldiers, of course, wanted nothing to do with the dog, and the barking covered the kids/infants noises. During her time and course of doing this, she managed to smuggle out and save 2500 kids/infants. She was caught, and the Nazi's broke both her legs and arms and beat her severely. Irena kept a record of the names of all the kids she smuggled out and kept them in a glass jar, buried under a tree in her back yard. After the war, she tried to locate any parents that may have survived it, and reunited the families. Most, of course, had been gassed.

Those kids she helped were placed into foster family homes or adopted. In 2007 Irena was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize....

She LOST.

Send this to your elected officials in Washington D.C.

Dear Representative,

Please convince me that YOU are not part of the problem.

Our elected officials sit in their elite salons and parlors in Washington and plot and scheme. If you were a fly on the wall, it would come as no great shock to hear one of them actually laugh and proclaim, cigar and drink in hand: "Of course Obama SHOULD be impeached, but let's not upset the apple cart. Life is good for us here in Washington. Let's just keep talking tough, do nothing, and the idiotic citizens in flyover country will put us back into office anyway."

NOW HEAR THIS ... that's NOT going to happen!

Meanwhile, Obama continues to usurp the authority of the legislature and the judiciary, he continues to compromise our national sovereignty. He tries to divide us by race and class. He undermines our Judeo-Christian heritage whenever the opportunity presents itself and he repeatedly violates Article II, Section 4 of the United States Constitution, which requires that he “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.”

It's high time we give Obama what he's been asking for, and yet, our Republican leaders refuse to do what must be done for the good of the country... they refuse to hold this 21st century dictator to account... they refuse to stop the rampant lawlessness of the Obama Regime. They refuse to IMPEACH BARACK OBAMA. It's time for them to know that upsetting the apple cart is REQUIRED and failure to heed that demand will have career destroying consequences.

there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future..

Social Injustice

On Friday's Morning Joe on MSNBC, Zbigniew Brzezinski, former Carter national security advisor ranted, "The United States is becoming rapidly one of the most socially unjust societies in the world." NBC chief foreign affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell declared: "I agree with just about everything that Dr. Brzezinski has said..."

Mitchell sets aside Patriots for Freedom in favor of Pundits for Socialism, lamenting, "The disparities between rich and poor in this country. " She noted, "You see the exaggerated forms of it…with the Tea Party, (objecting to Obama-care a couple of years ago) and then, the emergence of the Occupy movement. That's a real movement. There is real passion and anger there."

Socially Unjust? Good grief, Andrea, gag us with a spoon. The USA is one nation that is exceptional in the world for saying her legal citizens, until recently, have constitutionally protected God given rights like LIFE, LIBERTY, and so on. The Godly founders of America designed a constitutionally limited government that we the people were to control. They never intended for the government to control the people and mandate how we may or may not pursue happiness according to divine law. If a citizen chooses to help the poor, that is between him and God and is not a concern of government. Where do people get off now days slandering America like they do? The United States of America has been a more benevolent nation to a lost and dying world than any other country in history. God bless America!
