I REMEMBER... Do YOU?

"A bump in the road" ....  

 Remember that calloused statement?  I don't know the author of this poem.. Received it today.  Very thought provoking and poignant.  I do recall, however, the President referring to the Benghazi incident as "a bump in the road."  Today I heard an ex-Navy Seal being interviewed on Fox News regarding a book he has written about how to handle crisis situations in our lives.  At the end of the interview he asked if he could make a comment on Benghazi and of course the anchor said yes.  He then thanked Fox News for keeping the Benghazi story in the news, since other news organizations are not. He said the Seals who died deserve the public knowing the truth about the whole affair. 

The poem was written by a MARINE CORPS Officer (ANON).

 

THE BATTLING BOYS OF BENGHAZI 

 
We're the battling boys of Benghazi 
No fame, no glory, no paparazzi. 
Just a fiery death in a blazing hell 
Defending our country we loved so well.  

It wasn't our job, but we answered the call,
fought to the Consulate and scaled the wall. 
We pulled twenty Countrymen from the jaws of fate 
Led them to safety, and stood at the gate.  

Just the two of us, and foes by the score, 
But we stood fast to bar the door. 
Three calls for reinforcement, but all were denied, 
So we fought, and we fought, and we fought 'til we died.  

We gave our all for our Uncle Sam, 
But Barack Obama didn't give a damn. 
Just two dead seals who carried the load 
No thanks to us.........we were just

So will this reach every American with a computer? 

Or do we act like the press and give a pass to the incompetent people who literally sat there in the White House and watched the Seal's execution on live streaming video and did absolutely nothing?  The Obama Administration obviously won't be held accountable because we apparently accept Hilary Clinton's statement, 

"What difference does it make?" 

No words for this, except...

It is simply more evidence of the racist wrong-headed attitude of  "I can do what ever I want."  Angry?  Get used to it because the Barack Hussein Obama administration  will continue to disgrace America until he is finally taken out of his dream world.  

Rest easy Mrs. Black. You entertained our nation, especially the greatest generation of them all, for decades. We are sorry our president's priorities are so blatantly backwards.... WE will remember you none-the-less...

Why Pastors’ Kids Fall Away  By Dale Hudson (Director of children’s ministries at Christ Fellowship Church in Palm Beach) Katy Perry is currently the highest-profile pastor's kid (PK) that has walked away from her faith. In a recent interview, she said she is no longer a Christian and doesn’t believe in heaven, hell or “an old man sitting on a throne.” Perry represents a host of Pastors Kids who have struggled with their faith. Recent statistics from Barna Group research says that: • 40 percent have gone through a period where they significantly questioned their faith • 33 percent are no longer active in church • 7 percent no longer consider themselves a Christian What causes this? Pastors who were asked answered: • Unrealistic expectations were placed on them (28 percent) • Negative experiences in church (18 percent) • Father or mother were too busy at church to spend time with them (17 percent) • Faith not modeled at home (14 percent) • Influence of friends or peers (9 percent) When pastors were asked what they’ve done best in raising their kids, their responses included: • Introduced their kids to Christ and maintained a Bible-focused home (37 percent) • Spent time with them and supported them (21 percent) • Loved them (12 percent) • Taught them good values (10 percent) • Allowed them to make their own choices and be themselves (9 percent)  Here's what pastors said they wish they had done better: • Spent more time with their kids (42 percent) • Been more understanding (8 percent) • Given them more Bible teaching (5 percent) • No regrets; wouldn’t change anything (19 percent) I have a special place in my heart for kids who are Pastors kids because I am one. I grew up to serve the Lord and live for Him. Looking back here are a few reasons that happened for me: 1. My parents practiced what they preached. I could argue with what they believed, but I couldn't argue with how they lived what they believed. 2. My dad and mom spent time with me. My dad spent hours with me in the backyard, practicing pitching with me when I was in Little League. When I got into high school and played basketball, he was there in the stands cheering for me. My mom poured her life into me and was always there for me. 3. I was able to see past the negative side of ministry. Yes, there are negative sides to ministry. Sheep bite, and people are not perfect. At times there are politics. The church is made up of people—people who struggle and have weaknesses like we all do. But I was able to see past  that and see the bigger picture. 4. I made a personal choice to follow Christ, and my faith became my own. I came to Christ when I was a young child. It was a very real experience that I can still remember to this day. When I was in high school, God begin to speak to me about being a pastor. My parents had never asked me about being a pastor. In fact, they had mentioned several times that I should consider being a schoolteacher, and I had personally told God I would never be a pastor. Yes, I would be faithful to church and serve Him, but not working for a church. But when God calls, you have to make a choice. You can say yes or you can walk away from His will for your life. After struggling for months, I made the choice to say yes to God’s plan for my life. I say that to say this: At the end of the day, each person must decide for themselves if they will follow Christ or not. Yes, godly parents do make a difference and help cultivate the soil, but they cannot make the decision for their child. Do I blame Katy Perry’s parents for the road she has chosen? Out of 50, only the State of Kansas is taking action to protect the rights of Christians to NOT be coerced to provide goods and services in violation of their religious beliefs. This however did not deter the Eric Holder Department of (In)Justice from its own policy of re-working federal law to recognize 'gay marriage' even in States that did not.

If enacted S. 2024, the State Marriage Defense Act, would require that the federal government give the same deference to the 33 States that define marriage as the union between one man and one woman as it does to the 17 States that recognize same-sex unions.

Contact the IRS today and let them know that the First Amendment should be protected, not trampled by new proposed regulations February 19, 2014    Dear Larry, The IRS has proposed new regulations to limit the ability of 501c(4) organizations to engage in political activity and grassroots efforts. Your help is needed today to protect the First Amendment. Recent revelations of political targeting of conservative groups by IRS officials haven't changed, and the problem is not close to being resolved. The IRS should be focused on getting to the bottom of this political targeting of groups, not proposing new regulations to reign in the people's ability to participate in the democratic process.New proposed rules would restrict the ability of 501c(4) organizations like FRC Action to engage in what the IRS calls "candidate-related political activities." Currently 501c(4) organizations cannot engage in campaign intervention, but the Obama IRS wants to expand the current definition and go further to restrict voter education and registration efforts. Not only would FRC Action be restricted in helping churches register their members to vote, we would be limited in distributing voter guides that show where the candidates stand on the important issues involving you and your family. Will you provide public comment to the IRS and let them know that you are opposed to these new restrictive regulations? Our government, as President Lincoln eloquently stated, is "of the people, by the people, and for the people." The people have the responsibility to hold their elected officials accountable for their actions. Limiting the ability of Americans to actively participate in the workings of their government and elections is the complete opposite of what the First Amendment safeguards. Girl Scouts Threaten Pro-Life Publication

Apparently the Girl Scouts' national office doesn't like the fact that this national pro-life publication has been reporting on the connection between the organization and abortion industry and have issued threats to the publisher.

(Life News) After a series of articles on the boycott and the Girl Scouts-Planned Parenthood link, that featured the Girl Scouts logo to identify the organization, Brian Crawford, an executive with Girl Scouts USA, wrote LifeNews a scathing letter attempting to intimidate us into stopping our reporting on their link and to no longer use their logo or image to identify them as we bring attention to their support for the nation’s biggest abortion business.

In his letter Crawford again denied any connection to Planned Parenthood and he complained about LifeNews.com "articles that outline alleged ties to Planned Parenthood," saying "GSUSA has an obligation to protect the Girl Scout name."

"Girl Scouts of the USA does not have a partnership or any relationship with Planned Parenthood and does not plan to initiate one," he claimed.
