Immigration Sell-out possible!

We MUST STAND when 

the House returns Monday

At this very hour, in a resort on the Chesapeake Bay, Speaker John Boehner and Budget Chairman Paul Ryan are trying to persuade Republican House Members to accept a set of "Immigration Principles."

The key "immigration principle" is work permits and legalization (amnesty) for millions of illegal immigrants. If they do this, it's an utter sell-out.

Whatever decision is reached, amnesty supporters are sure to present us with a colossal legislative battle that we will need to respond to with millions of faxes and hundreds of thousands of toll-free phone calls. Over the past two weeks, we have been mobilizing our forces, but we need your help to pay for this.

The Republican leadership is pressing so hard for "immigration reform" that President Obama's State of the Union comments on immigration last night seemed downright friendly. No finger-pointing or blaming, just a simple, "Let's get it done."

In the Republican Response, House Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers simply called for "reform." She had all the same rhetoric about enforcement that the proponents of last year's Senate amnesty bill used, but she made no mention of any specific measures to secure the border and no mention at all of interior enforcement; she only upped the ante by suggesting that we need to "attract" still more workers while we still have tens of millions of unemployed and underemployed.

Republican leaders are avoiding the word, "amnesty." But former Vice Presidential nominee and Budget Chairman Rep. Paul Ryan said Republicans mustallow illegal aliens to "come out of the shadows and reintegrate into society."The term they are pushing is "legalization," which of course means amnesty.

There is hope, however. As desperately as the Republican leadership covets all the political support and money from the open borders lobby, they know there's only so much they can afford to betray the voters. They're hoping voters will excuse, forget, or simply fail to notice their betrayal. If voters (NumbersUSA members) push back hard enough, GOP leaders have hinted they may back off.

It's up to us to supply the pushback in the form of toll-free calls and faxes to Congress by the millions. Again, we need funds to pay for this.

There is definitely a growing mood of confusion and aggravation among conservatives in the House over the immigration issue right now, one House GOP aide said in an email to Breitbart News... Do we really want to just give up the midterms like this? the aide asked.
