School is out

We went out for dinner with the Turners Wednesday before chuch to celebrate Jim's and my birthdays. His was the 24th and mine is the 29th. Friday I had my first workout at the Y as a new member and went out for dinner and a movie with the Buffaloes as a late Fathers Day thing. Turners went to California to be with the family due to the passing of brother-in-law Larry Powers. Taking Mom in to heart specialist tomorrow to have stress test and nuclear ultra sound. Checking for leaky valves and/or blockages. Follow up with family Dr. on Thursday.

School is out for the summer and they are already doing interviews for teaching positions next year. One candidate had an interesting perspective...

After being interviewed by the school administration, the teaching Prospect said: 'Let me see if I've got this right: 'You want me to go into that room with all those kids, correct their disruptive behavior, observe them for signs of abuse, monitor their dress habits, censor their T-shirt messages, and instill in them a love for learning.

'You want me to check their backpacks for weapons, wage war on drugs and sexually transmitted diseases, and raise their sense of self esteem and personal pride.

'You want me to teach them patriotism and good citizenship, sportsmanship and fair play, and how to register to vote, balance a checkbook, and apply for a job.

'You want me to check their heads for lice, recognize signs of antisocial behavior, and make sure that they all pass the state exams.

'You want me to provide them with an equal education regardless of their handicaps, and communicate regularly with their parents by letter, telephone, newsletter, and report card'.

'You want me to do all this with a piece of chalk, a blackboard, a bulletin board, a few books, a big smile, and a starting salary that qualifies me for food stamps.

'You want me to do all this and then you tell me... 'I CAN'T PRAY?'

GOD was there. I LOVE it whe GOD shows up in church don't YOU? Yes, it makes me feel so sorry for all those out in the world catering to their flesh. I've been there and I've done that and that is why I am SO thankful for God's grace in my life because if it weren't for that, I'd still be wasting my life on all those worthless things of the world. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Praise Him all creatures here below. Praise Him above ye heavenly hosts. Praise Father , Son and Holy Ghost. AMEN.

LORDSHIP

The person who professes to be a Christian, and is not as a rule subject to the Lordship of Christ is a false professor. He is a liar. There is no basis in Scripture for the contention of habitual carnality of a Christian. They which contend for such a theory always refer to isolated cases in the lives of godly people, such as the sin of David, Samson, Abraham's subterfuge, Peter's denial of Christ, etc. Let us not excuse these sins, nor the sins of our own lives, but let us highlight the fact that these men regretted and repented of these temporary digressions from the God honoring course of their lives. Dear Senator Cantwell,

Thank you for the update. It is appreciated. Common sense is a good thing. I'm certain that most people will agree that it is a good approach to almost any problem. It is not clear to me which Washington is following which but either way we are all leaning more and more to the left lately and one of the things that I am concerned about regarding health care reform is the immigration connection.

Any day now we will receive notice that another Executive Order has been signed and this time it will be on Immigration Reform. It will come as the result of a lot of negotiations in closed back room meetings. Judging from the way the deck is stacked and who is in these secret meetings, the Immigration Reform agreement will be nothing less than amnesty for the illegal aliens in our country. Senator, when that happens it will be a terrible blow to common sense efforts to improve our health care system.

I hear a lot of talk about health care reform but what is usually meant by that is "we need universal health care." In my humble opinion, promoting universal health care is not using common sense. Let me explain briefly if I may. People are being conditioned to think that we are all entitled to the same health care. Naturally we all want good quality health care insurance coverage. That is a no brainer. Thank you for working to keep health care costs down but it does COST - right? Right. So, PLEASE don't roll out some health care reform thing that is going to guarantee universal coverage to all inhabitants of the land regardless of their citizenship, legal status, or what they have or have not paid into the system. Many hard working citizens are earning their right to good health care insurance but at the same time there are many that will demand the privilege of free health care that is not free but is paid for by hard working citizens that are earning their way in our society. What we do not need is a health care system that is nothing but another welfare program.

Health Care Reform

The primary story in the latest Newsletter from Senator Patty Murray has to do with Health Care Reform. She said: "Last Friday, I spoke at a rally in Pratt Park in Seattle to discuss moving forward with health care reform in Congress that will help ensure that all Americans have access to quality and affordable coverage. I told the crowd that health care should be a right for all Americans and not a privilege for some. "

I wrote to the Senator with the hope that she would READ my note and at least consider the subject from a different angle for a moment before she speaks again.

Dear Senator Murray,
Thank you for another newsletter. It is appreciated. I continue to mistrust my government. I pray for those in office at this time and am earnestly and constantly asking the sovereign God of all creation to change their hearts and minds. I fear that as we speak there are closed door meetings being held to ram so-called immigration reform through that is nothing more than amnesty for illegals. This will be a very big problem for the issue of the so-called health care reform agenda.

Naturally, people want quality affordable insurance for their health care. But can I offer a suggestion? Please be careful about promoting the "Entitlement" idea that all inhabitants of our land deserve what might turn out to be more government ran programs, especially in the area of health. Do not promote a system that is going to roll out a universal package that is guaranteed to all inhabitants of the land regardless of their citizenship or legal status or what they have or have not paid into the health insurance "Kitty".

I fear that what a lot of folks think they have a "right" to is free health care at the expense of those honest taxpayers that are busy earning their way in society. Can you see that THAT is in reality unfair? Some are earning the health care protection they pay for. That is a "right" not a "privilege". But to promote a welfare health care system that will give to some a privilege to free care that is not their right to have is not good government. Sometimes I think you might have your rights and privileges mixed up. Can you understand my point here?

Trip to Idaho

I preached the final sermon in a series of sermons from the eleventh chapter of Hebrews today at TLBC. The title of the message was "Faith and Compensation" and the outline can be seen on our church website. click here

Marion and I drove over to Naples, Idaho last Wednesday and attended the celebration services of the 30th Anniversary since the organization of the Bible Believers Baptist Church there. We saw the Turners at a rest stop named "Indian John Hill". They were on the way to Idaho too and we all had a wonderful time. I preached Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night. My sermons were "Things to Look for at a Good Bible Conference", "Sin and Death on Calvary", and "Preaching Jesus." The hospitality of the dear saints there was out of this world - that means GOOD. God has been good to them and they really want to give all the honor and glory to Him. Although the meeting continued on through Saturday and Sunday, Marion and I had to return home to hold the Fort at TLBC. Several of our members were there in Idaho for this special event and some of the other preachers were Elder Jim Turner, Elder Jim Tweet, and Elder Perry Ames. We should have just about all of it captured on DVD.

As the saying goes, it takes all kinds to make the world go around. I met a man who seemed to be very filled up with himself who visited the services one night. He talked so much about himself and what he had discovered in all of his study that it was practically impossible to get a word in edgewise. As soon as I introduced myself to him he began to talk and in the first fifteen or twenty minutes he managed to slander two of my friends, insult me, unchurch my flock, her mother church, her grandmother church and several hundred other sound New Testament churches all because of his personal interpretation of a paragraph he read in some history book somewhere about an old time Baptist preacher that was at one time identified as a Separatist.

The gentleman said he was a member of a church in North Carolina but had moved out West to get away from some of the controversey among the churches. He was full of grand revelations of the faults of so many and was so righteous about it in that he didn't call any names. I asked him if he attended church anywhere and he said he had Bible Studies in his home. It sounded pretty clear to me that he was the kind of fellow that could not get along very well with anyone where ever he might be. Bless his heart. Thank goodness that the icecream for the fellowship after the service was melting and we had to break off the conversation for that. He followed me down to the fellowship hall and persisted with his monologue (you could not have a dialogue with him) althought I was able to squeeze in some counsel that I hoped would help him in the future by talking over him with a blunt shock effect and a little more force with powerful gestures. Our loving host again came to graciously invite us to have some wonderful huckleberry pie a-la-mode and I thought, "Isn't the Love of Jesus Something Wonderful." I wish I could have gotten some pictures of the precious saints in Idaho but they are a little camera shy. They were indeed a blessing of the Lord to this preacher and his wife. We thank the Lord for them.

First Friday Fellowship

What a day. We got up early and went to breakfast a Denny's with my sisters to talk about aging parent items. About 1PM I was called by Mom's neighbor on an emergency thing with Mom and wound up spending most of the day at the Doctor's office. We got home just in time to get ready for the FFF at TLBC but the fellowship meeting sure was a blessing and good time of spiritual refreshing. Brother Jim Hunt brought an outstanding Bible Study Lesson from Judges chapter 13 and verses 18-19 and the Hebrew meaning of the words secret and wounderously. The title of the study was "Wonderously Wonderful" and I think brother Turner captured it on DVD.

Along with this, we also celebrated with Laura Russell on her graduation from High School. She completed all of her schooling under the Home School Method and we are all very very proud of her. She is already enrolled in College classes at Pierce College. The pictures were taken of her graduation cake that we all demolished after the Bible study tonight.

Bro Gaylen taught on the three tenses of salvation in our SS today and my message was on "The Faith and Conquests" click here for a look at the outline. In the afternoon we studied the Apostle Philip. Brother Turner was supplying the Pulpit in Victory Baptist Church of Chehalis. It was good to see some old friends return to visit our services today.

Tomorrow is my first day on the rolls of medicare. I'm on AARP Medicare Complete and have my monthly Rx ready to pick up this Wednesday at the Fred Meyer Pharmacy for the first time on the new card for health insurance and will go in next month for my "Welcome to Medicare" Physical at our family Dr. Also, it is my plan to enroll in the Silver Sneakers Program at the local YMCA and start working on getting back into a little better shape. :) Here are six tips I hope to practice more faithfully.

1. Lose weight with water.

Water is essential for everybody - it is also the key to losing weight. If you haven't been drinking enough water, your body has developed a pattern of storing water. This water retention equals extra unwanted weight. By drinking more water, you are not only flushing out toxins, you are also teaching your body that it no longer needs to store water. Drink at least 60 ounces of water (about 8 glasses) a day.

2. Soup up your weight loss program.

A simple dietary change will have you shedding pounds: eat a bowl of soup at least once a day. Nutritious, low-salt soups will nourish you as they flush waste from your body. People who eat a serving of soup daily lose more weight than those who eat the same amount of calories but don't eat soup. Go for homemade soup whenever possible, as canned soups are loaded with salt and chemicals. (Marion makes GREAT soup!)

3. Eat early to keep weight off. (This is a hard goal for a night person like me)

The human body follows a circadian rhythm, which means that the same foods eaten at breakfast and lunch are processed differently than when eaten at dinner. Studies show that when you eat your daily protein and fat at breakfast you tend to lose weight and have more energy; however, eating the same things at dinner tend to increase tendencies toward weight gain. I suggest that you eat your last meal of the day by 7 p.m. (Ouch!)

4. Eat smaller meals, more frequently.

Follow an eating schedule with five little meals every day. Eating steadily through the day keeps you from becoming famished and overeating at your next meal. Make a low-fat trail mix from raw almonds, pumpkin seeds, dried plum, and apples and have it available at all times to avoid the tempting lure of high-calorie snacks.

5. Adopt a balanced approach to your diet. (I wishe I had some "well balanced" friends to work with me on this)

Most of the fad diet programs out there nowadays are extreme in a few recommended foods, or else deprive the body of food altogether. This works in opposition to our metabolism and the results usually don't last, producing a yoyo effect that depresses your metabolic function - not to mention your self-esteem. We are natural beings that need a balance of nutrition from all sources. Your diet should consist of a balance of organic sources of lean protein, complex carbohydrates, whole grains, legumes, nuts, fruits, and vegetables. Instead of white rice and pasta, opt for brown rice, bulgur, millet, or buckwheat. Eat more green, chlorophyll-rich foods such as broccoli, kale, spinach, and asparagus. Eliminate candy, sugar, soda, and all simple sugars from your diet. Excess sugar ends up being stored as fat in your body, which results in weight gain. Also, keep dairy to a minimum because most dairy products are high in saturated fat. Avoid fatty foods, processed or fried foods. (This could be challenging)

6. Walk off the weight.

The No. 1 cause of weight gain is inactivity. Physical activity is the key to speeding up your metabolism and burning excess calories. The best way to be physically active is to use your legs! Walk as often and as long as you can. Always take the stairs instead of the elevator.
Step outside during your break at work and take a walk around your building. Consider joining a local hiking club. Try taking a walk 30 minutes in the morning or 30 minutes in the early evening.I hope this article helps you shed some pounds and add on the years! Don't Tread on Me

What will we do?

When the "authorities" come for us, do we run, fight, or go with them quietly to this day’s version of the stake? What am I talking about? I'm talking about what my mother-in-law, who lived through the Nazi rise to power in Hitler's day, says is happening today just as it did in those days in Germany.

There is more and more legislation before congress here in the USA to remove our rights and the protection of law. Some are trying to make it so that they can search our homes without a warrant, declare us a terrorist threat and remove all our rights without trial, accusation, probable cause or even recourse.

The goon squads will be made up of special chosen officers that will be "trained" to handle the situation expediently. They will simply follow orders unquestionably and efficiently being fully confident that they are doing the "right" thing because of the training received from those in authority. But where did this "authority" come from? Didn't we the people put our leaders in office? Many did indeed vote for the leftist socialist regime that has now taken control of our country. But what of the legality of it all and how far are godly people supposed to allow the ungodly things of questionable legality to go on?

The question was once raised about the citizenship of Mr. Obama. Has anyone actually seen a true and legal copy of the man's birth certificate? I mean a true and legal document, not a decorative form drawn up after the fact for personal reasons. How can a question like this go so easily ignored? US citizen ship is a legal requirement for the President of the United States. If it cannot be shown that he is a US citizen, no matter what else, he was not legally qualified as a candidate for the office of the President of the United States.

Documentation for his school said that his nationality was Indonesian, thus showing that he was not considered as an American citizen at that time, and it also shows that his religion was Islam, as an added point of information. If he is not legally entitled to his office, do we obey him? Do any of his Executive Orders have any legal value to them at all?

How much should we honor usurpers that move into positions of authority by any shade of color? That statement is NOT a racial statement. It has to do with the fact that deception was used by the liberal media and extreme leftist politics to bring us to where we are today in America.

So, what will we do when they come for us? I was asked this question recently and I think it is a serious question and I'm troubled by it. My personal little arsenal of weapons for personal protection is not a match for the firepower that can be raised against me by the government if they chose to do so.

It is the old question of fight or flight. Should we go down fighting? Or should we resign to the fact that they will smear what we stand for and lay down with the assurance that God knows the truth?

Sometimes I want to go against them with all that I can, as futile as I know that would be, and if they should take me alive, I hope that I would be enabled by the grace of God to stand tall with the ancient martyrs of truth that were eliminated by the earthly powers of times gone by. The cowardly side of me wants to run. But where can we run to today? There is not a place on earth today like America was in 1776. What will YOU do when they come for YOU? Bad Boy.

Beautiful day. Many are out pampering the carnal appetites of the flesh this weekend. There is nothing more satisfiying than to be in the house of the Lord on His day and to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. Of coarse, you must have the Spirit of Jesus in your heart to really know what I'm talking about here. We thank the Lord for an AP on brother Skip. His surgery went well and he is recovering nicely. Here it is, time again for another update. We had three first time visitors in our services today at TLBC and three return vistors. Praise the Lord. Grandma Killion was out ill and the Turners were in Chehalis supplying for the Victory Baptist Church there. Pray for VBC as they seek a new Pastor. Dear heavenly Father,

I come to you bowing in reverence to the one true and living God and acknowledge that you are Holy, Just and Good, and your mercy endures forever.

I confess that I am a hell deserving sinner. It is like the prophet Isaiah said, "I am a man of unclean lips and I dwell in the midst of a people with unclean lips." I have sinned as a person and my nation has sinned as a country. You would be just if you turned your back on us for ever but we come claiming the shed blood of the Lamb of God who taketh away the sin of the world according to your divine plan of salvation.

I thank you for your mercy and grace. I thank you for your providential watch care over my country and me in spite of our sin. I thank you for the freedom from sin that we can have in Christ, your only begotten Son, and for the political freedom we have in America. Thank you for the right to LIFE. Thank you that I can pray to you directly like this and not through the rules and regulations of any city like Mecca, Rome, Washington DC or any other. Thank you for the right to bear arms and protect myself and my family from evil men. Thank you for a work ethic that does not give a sense of entitlement to a free ride in life that must be paid for by labor and taxes of others. Thank you for those in the Armed Forces of our land that protect our liberty.

And now as I have endeavored to ADORE you first of all and CONFESS the sins of my land, and myself and offer THANKSGIVING for your bountiful blessings, I come to the SUPPLICATION in the ACTS of prayer. I ask for CHANGE. I pray for Mr. Obama. I ask that you change his heart. Change the mindset of this land. Turn us back to the nation that was founded on Biblical Principles. Change us from greed to grace. Change us from unborn baby killers to unashamed truth tellers. Change us from oppressive governmental regulation to open gracious regeneration. Change us from being over run with illegal aliens and potential terrorists to being open for real opportunity to those that would enter legally and become one of us rather than demanding that we change our culture and language for their benefit. There are so many changes that could be made for the better in our land. Oh, God, hear my prayer and hinder those that are bent on moving away from the basic freedoms that we started out with in America and are placing us more and more in bondage and servitude to government. Change us back to the Godly standards that we once knew. I ask this in Christ's name. AMEN.

The Truth Is Not Free

Proverbs 23:17-23

Our text for this message is verse 23. Ponder for a few moments the fact that the TRUTH is not free. Now, don’t worry. We are not going to pass the plate - but pay attention because if you really want to know the truth, you need to realize that it definitely will cost you something. We believe and teach that salvation is by the free grace of God. In other words, if you would be saved today you need only receive the free gift of salvation by God’s grace through repenting of your sins and trusting Christ as your Savior by faith. Salvation is free but the truth is not. The Bible tells us that the truth is something that can be bought and sold. Let us look for a few moments at some ways that the truth will cost us something if we would know it, live it and stand in it. I pray that God would enable me to preach the truth in sincerity and in love and that He might grant to you the grace you need to buy it.

I. IT WILL COST YOU TIME.
1. Study Time. 2Tim. 2:15, Jn. 5:39, Acts 17:11.
A. More in the Word - less in the world.
2. Prayer Time. Prov. 2:1-6, 1Cor. 2:12-14.
A. More with God – less with others.
3. Service Time. Lk 9:23, 57-62.
A. More church than anything. Help everywhere you can. Not just on Sunday morning only - but daily.
II. IT WILL COST YOU EFFORT. 2Tim. 4:7-8.
1. It takes individual effort: Spiritual growth, personal work, & private devotion.
2. It takes ecclesiastical effort: Printing, Radio, Tapes and Videos, Transportation, Music, Teaching, Visiting, Tract Ministry, Missions, grounds and building maintenance, etc.
III. IT WILL COST YOU MONEY. Mal. 3:8-10.
1. We usually don’t say too much about this but it is a Biblical fact.
2. Someone must pay for the Bibles, Tracts, Tapes & Videos, Utilities, Bible Study literature, office supplies, postage, Missionary travel expenses, Rent and etc.
3. If you are only a receiver and not a giver, then you do not have the truth no matter how much you may think you know. 2Cor. 9:6-7.

CONCLUSION: Please do not confuse what has been said here about the truth, with Gods free gift of salvation. If your are lost and you know it and you want to be saved more than anything else in the world, I have good news for you. Your salvation has been bought and paid for already by the Son of God Himself! Look by faith to the Lamb of God right now and trust Him for your souls salvation. He can save you and He will save you when you trust Him alone for salvation.
But, if you think you can always be a church freeloader, may God put you on notice right now that true Christian service will cost you something. The Christian Crowns of Service are not freebies. They come after faithful service according to the word of God. The Crown of Life will cost you your life. Rev. 2:10. Yes, Salvation is free. Praise God for that! But the truth is NOT free. I urge you now to BUY the truth and SELL it not. AMEN. 10-86, 4-87, 5-09.

09 Michigan Conference

I had a good breakfast every morning in Michigan at the Big Boy Restraunt next to The Country Inn & Suites where the church put me up during the Bible Conference.

It was so good to see old friends again at the conference like the Smiths, the Works, (I preached for Bro. Works at Liberty Baptist Church on Wednesday night) Sister Harvey, Cyd and Frank James, and many others. Pictured above is Brother Kenneth Long, Sharon and Benjamin. (Bro. Long was was a Missionary out of our church in '95 to Vladivostok, Russia) The red car behind the Longs was loaned to me while I was there by brother Charlie Cosner, a faithful member there at Home Baptist.

Elder Mike Channell and his wife Janet. Sister Channel has recently published a good book for Chrstian ladies by the title "The Husband's Helpmate - Returning to the Lord's Pathway". It comes in two volumes and I read the first volume on the plane coming home. This is a good work and is worthy of consideration by women everywhere but especially those that are born again and want to live for God the Bible way.

The song leader brother Larry and Pastor Dan Gordon did a fine job keeping things going smoothly during the Bible Conference and the rest of the church members were also very busy behind the scenes. This is a great church and truly blessed of the Lord with faithful workers. I was happy to be back home again after a wonderful time in Michigan at the Bible Conference there in Mt. Morris at the Home Baptist Church. Marion picked me up at SeaTac and we have her Mom Irmgard visiting with us this week end. We went to our daughter Cindi's house for a BBQ on Saturday and celebrated the birthdays of our grandchildren Kiersten and AJ Buffaloe. Muslim-American

Very good services at TLBC again today. My sermon was on "The Faith of Moses and Choices" and the outline can be reviewed on our Church Website click here. It was good to have the Turner's back from Idaho. Some were still out with physical infirmities and need our prayer. Good news about brother Skip. He is home from the hospital but the bad news is that when his boold count gets back in a good safe range they will probably have to do surgery again on his foot due to MRI readings that show more infection in the bone. We were expecting visitors in our services today but they did not show so we will press on and depend on the Lord to send us those that HE would have to be with us. He does all things well. Pray for me as I fly out of SeaTac in the morning to attend a Bible Conference in Mt. Morris, Michigan this week. I'll be home DV this Friday.


Is Muslim-American really an oxymoron?

Can a devout Muslim be an American patriot and a loyal citizen? I forwarded this question to someone who worked in saudi Arabia for 20 years. The following is his forwarded reply:

Theologically, no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon god of Arabia.

Religiously, no. Because no other religion is accepted by his Allah excep Islam (Quran, 2:256)

Scripturally, no Because his allegiance is to the five pillars of Islam and the Quran (Koran).

Geographically, no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he prays five times a day.

Socially, no. Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.

Politically, no. Because he must submit to the mullah (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America, the great Satan.

Domestically, no. Because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34).

Intellectually, no. Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.

Philosophically, no. Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.

Spiritually, no. Because when we declare "one nation under God,"the Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in the Quran's "99 excellent names."

Therefore after much study and deliberation.... perhaps we should be very suspicious of all devout Muslims in this country. They obviously cannot be both "good" Muslims and "good" Americans. This is NOT hate speach. Call it what you wish..... It's still the truth. If you find yourself intellectually in agreement with the above statements, perhaps you will share this with your friends. The more who understand this, the better it will be....for the religious war (Jihad) that is being waged in the world today is bigger and more complex than most Americans currently know or understand.

Laminin

We had a great day yesterday as Marion and I drove over to Yakima and visited with Sister Deuchle in Arbor House. We had lunch with her in the dining room and got all caught up on the prayer requests in the church and had a good season of prayer. Marion drove all the way over and back. She loves to drive and use her Garmin GPS device. I studied today for services in church this Lord's Day and next. Preparing for the trip to the Bible Conference in Mt. Morris, Michigan April 20-23.

Cindi sent me this clip on the cell adhesion protein molecule in our body that is a real inspirational blessing. It is about eight minutes long but worth it. The Bible says we are fearfully and wonderfully made. AMEN! And so it is... click here

You're an 19 year old kid. You're critically wounded, and dying in the jungle in the Ia Drang Valley , 11-14-1965, LZ X-ray, Vietnam . Your infantry unit is outnumbered 8 - 1, and the enemy fire is so intense, from 100 or 200 yards away, that your own Infantry Commander has ordered the MediVac helicopters to stop coming in.

You're lying there, listening to the enemy machine guns, and you know you're not getting out. Your family is 1/2 way around the world, 12,000 miles away, and you'll never see them again. As the world starts to fade in and out, you know this is the day. Then, over the machine gun noise, you faintly hear that sound of a helicopter, and you look up to see an un-armed Huey, but it doesn't seem real, because no Medi-Vac markings are on it.

Ed Freeman is coming for you. He's not Medi-Vac, so it's not his job, but he's flying his Huey down into the machine gun fire, after the Medi-Vacs were ordered not to come. He's coming anyway. And he drops it in, and sits there in the machine gun fire, as they load 2 or 3 of you on board. Then he flies you up and out through the gunfire, to the Doctors and Nurses. And, he kept coming back.... 13 more times..... And took about 30 of you and your buddies out, who would never have gotten out.

Medal of Honor Recipient, Ed Freeman,died last Wednesday at the age of 80, in Boise, Idaho ......May God rest his soul..... I bet you didn't hear about this hero's passing, but we sure were told a whole bunch about some Hip-Hop Coward beating the crap out of his girlfriend.
