Adult True-isms

1) Raising teenagers is like nailing Jell-O to a tree.
2) Wrinkles don't hurt.
3) Families are like fudge...mostly sweet, with a few nuts.
4) Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held its ground.
5) Laughing is good exercise. It's like jogging on the inside.
6) Middle age is when you choose your cereal for the fiber, not the toy.

What a wonderful time we have had this week. Our church celebrated her 27th anniversary on the 26th and we had Elder Garner Smith, Pastor of the Faith Baptist Church, Clarksville, Tennessee to preach for us every night and all day today in our regular services.

Brother Smith was one of my Bible teachers when I attended Bible College. His wife Augusta came with him and they stayed with Marion and me all week long. We had a grand time and the fellowship was so much fun.

I did not have time to check in on some of my home business related sites but everything seems to have ran OK. I sure like that aspect of having an online home business.

TLBC 4Q-06 Report

The Lord’s Baptist Church
11102 Yakima Avenue South
Tacoma, WA. 98444
Pastor Larry J. Killion Phone: 253-537-0129

This is our Newsletter and Quarterly Report for the 4th quarter of 2006. We finished studying the Sermon on the Mount. See our church website for the outlines of the latest sermons preached on Sunday mornings. In our afternoon services we have moved from studying about various Old Testament Bible characters to things in the New Testament.

Pastor traveled to Carmichael, California in October for the Bible Conference at Carmichael Baptist Church and had a wonderful time of fellowship with the brethren there. After the conference their pastor Elder Bill Brown, had some chest pains and had to have some stints put in. We are glad he is doing better now.

Sister Marion and I are doing OK health wise. Thank you to those who prayed for our grandson AJ Buffaloe. He is doing better now too. The latest test showed his brainwaves in the normal range. His balance seems to be improving. Sister Turner is better too.

Our church attendance needs improvement. We discontinued our mailing ministry to newcomers in the community because of no response. We started to canvas the neighborhood around the meeting place using several different gospel tracts we ordered from Wilbert Ellis in Florence, Kentucky. We’ve had a few visitors but not from the folks we visited. People here have very little concern about spiritual truth from the Bible. They are more interested in doing their own thing. A recent article in the Tacoma News Tribune told of some “church” groups that are growing because they rent movie theaters and let the people bring their Mochas and Lattes into the service while they play drums and guitar music for them with repetitive “worship” lyrics. One fellow was quoted as saying that he enjoyed it because he never felt lost in any of the services.

The weather has been rather cantankerous lately. First we had floods, then high winds, then freezing conditions and snow. There have been many power outages and some loss of lives. All in all we have faired well here at the Killion home. We are on a hill and I have a 5KW generator for spare power. We are hoping for a break, weather wise, the last week in January when Brother Garner Smith, Pastor or the Fellowship Baptist Church in Clarksville, Tennessee is coming out here for a weeks meeting. Pray for REVIVAL.

Our two Missionaries are doing well and we receive good reports from them about the mission work. It is an honor to be co-laborers with great men of God like Elder Cresencio Baldemor in Mindanao and Elder Robert Ellis in Ireland. We started sending financial support to five other Missionaries again. They are: Curtis Pugh in Romania, Ted Tweet in Honduras, Frank James in New Guinea, Jeff Lawrence in Australia, and Burt Craft in Mexico. Thank God for biblical ministries like these. Pray for us. AMEN.

The Same Old Story

It was warm and cozy in our services today at TLBC. We got our furnace fixed and it is working fine now. There was a good spirit there too and I only wish that there were more in attendance than what we had. I preached on "The Same Old Story." See our church website here: TLBC

Residual Income - The Key to Online Success!

How would you like to make money even when you don't go to
work? If you're like most online marketers this is probably
one of the key reasons you started your online business.

But the key to achieve your dream is having your work
continue to pay... even when you stop working. You need to
find a machine that continues to work even when you aren't
there. This machine is called residual income.

Residual income means that once you have set the wheels in
motion you can continue to collect money - possibly forever
- even long after you stop promoting your product or

Let's face it. Who wouldn't want to have a business that
puts money in your pocket day or night while you're off
doing the things you love?

For many enterprising individuals earning a residual
income is a real reality. The concept is simple and by
understanding the business model that this principle
applies to, once you've done the hard work you can then
continue to benefit from it for many months to follow.

While writing an ebook or report is one of the most
popular methods of creating residual income, you can also
create other products such as tutorial videos, software
programs or even a physical products.

However if you're not into creating your own products,
then the next best method is to promote affiliate services
that require monthly fees for such membership sites etc.

This way once you've referred a new referral, you will
continue to reap the benefits for as long as they remain a
member... without any additional effort!

The same is true if you choose to sell a product that is
made and delivered by another company - often called drop

Whichever method you choose, the key is to setup your
business so that it is as automated as possible so that
once you've set it up you don't have to continue working as

When you combine all this with the proper combination of
marketing and interested customers you can create a system
that works even when you don't.

A good example of a Drop Shipping business is with a Company
like Life Force International. This is a Debt Free company
with the highest of integrity that is stationed in San Diego,
California. They've been in business well over 20 years and
are members of the BBB. They produce whole food liquid
nutritional products. An excellent choice due to the consumable products because customers will return again and
again for them. Start your research on this possibility for
your Residual Income by going here:

Four important things to look for in starting a
Drop Shipping Business are:

1. A Rock Solid Company.
2. High Quality Reasonably Priced Products.
3. A Lucrative Compensation Plan.
4. Good Support Training and Customer Service.

An example of a good Affiliate Program is Trafficwave.
It is a pioneer in it's field and has been creating
successful online marketers since 2001. The products
are marketing tools that everyone who has an online
business needs. Most online gold diggers will not
strike it rich but those who sell the shovels to the
gold diggers will do quite well. This is the perfect online home biz for at least five reasons.

1. No Start Up Costs! I will pay your way in!
2. No paperwork to fill out. We are 100% online!
3. No special training required. No inventory.
4. No limited market. We are worldwide!
5. No strict hours. You set your own schedule.
