A Failure

I have to agree with Craig. I sure hope he wins the primary here in Washington State and defeats Senator Patty Murray in November. LJK

House Vote was a Failure for America

Vancouver, WA – Today, U.S. Senate candidate Craig Williams (R) released the following statement concerning the U.S. House of Representatives passage of the massive health care bill 219-216 on Sunday.

“Yesterday's House vote was a failure for America. The health care debate has divided our country and diverted attention from the more fundamental and important fiscal crises at hand. At a time when credit agencies are openly considering downgrading U.S. debt, this massively expensive bill could prove to be the final straw leading to national bankruptcy."

"It is widely aknowledged that Social Security and Medicare have been mismanged by the federal government and are facing future insolvency without large tax increases or program cuts. Despite this fact, Senator Patty Murray has supported spending trillions more to create another national entitlement program which will inevitably result in increased medical costs, decreased quality, and unsustainable increases in the federal deficit and debt." “I support the complete repeal of the entire health care bill and I call upon Senator Murray to begin focusing on reducing spending rather than increasing America's debt burden."

I was also very happy to hear that Rob McKenna, WA. State Attorney General, was the 5th State Attorney General to sue the Federal Government regarding the unconstitutional so-called Health Care bill signed into law now. Thank you Mr. Attorney General.
