Flag Day

I am reminded that today is FLAG DAY.

We are flying Old Glory today at our house.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, with liberty and justice for all.

The present resident of the White House recently had a Press Conference and there was something very different about his Press Conference than the Press Conferences of all of the other recent "Constitutionally Qualified" Presidents. I thought Flag Day would be an appropriate day to point this out. All of the other men had the Stars and Stripes prominently displayed behind the podium but not Mr. Obama. He has his plain gold curtains and familiar columns but no red, white and blue.

That should not surprise us however when we remember the controversy during his campaign days when he refused to wear a flag for a lapel pin and would not put his hand over his heart during the National anthem etc. Mr. Obama is more aligned with and dedicated to the 57 (Arab) States than to the 50 (American) States.
