Flag Day

Our American Flag
by Ellen Bailey

Our flag is one with colors ever so bright
A symbol of good and all that’s right
It is a beacon for those who are oppressed
Who long to live in the land of the blessed

It represents a dream to those from afar
That things can be much better than they are
They look upon our flag as an emblem of hope
When from their oppression they would elope

Our flag stands for freedom and basic human rights
It serves to rally when we must fight
It was conceived in battle when our country was young
And many have defended it since our freedom was won

It represents a place where dreams can come true
Where men and women can live life as they chose
Without fear of some maniacal regime
That stands ready to crush their dream

Our flag stands for liberty and justice for all
It stands for a country ruled by law
And when in a parade I see it pass by
I cannot hide my patriotic pride

With the GOP presidential debate in New Hampshire, all eyes are focusing on the 2012 presidential race, but as we've been telling you, that election has a very important milestone coming on July 12th. That's the date that Barack Obama's campaign team and MoveOn.org hope to seize control of the Wisconsin State Legislature through six RECALL campaigns against Republicans.

Democrats have announced that if they win these RECALL campaigns they will then move to RECALL Republican Governor Scott Walker next. If they succeed they will likely tip the scales of whether Barack Obama wins Wisconsin in the 2012 race, or if the Republican nominee will win.

Today we learned of an act of political courage from one of the Republicans being targeted in the RECALL campaigns. Democrats and MoveOn.org operatives tried to smear Republican Alberta Darling by linking her to GOP House Rep. Paul Ryan - using the scare tactics that they used to win the 26th Congressional District in New York recently.

And do you know what Republican Alberta Darling did when they tried this smear? Did she sell out her principles or Paul Ryan? NO! Instead she made us all proud. Here's what she had to say:

"They were trying to tie me to Ryan and thought that would be a negative for me,” she says. “I’m standing with Ryan — anytime, anywhere.”

“Go Paul Ryan!” Darling adds. “He’s absolutely a hero!”

We need to reward this act of political courage, friends, and stand by Alberta Darling's side and all of the Republicans who are having to fight off Barack Obama's political machine and the fundraising efforts by MoveOn.org to steal control of the state of Wisconsin and put it into the hands of radical leftists.

Please make a contribution of $25, $50 or $100 or, if you can afford it, a more generous contribution of $250, $500, $1,000 or more so we can fund these efforts against Barack Obama and MoveOn.org. To support our efforts - CLICK HERE TO DONATE
