Remind your Senators

Time for another reminder to go out to your Senators to defend the "defense of Marriage Act." Access your Legislators via the tool over on the right hand side of this page.

Here is a suggested letter that you can clip and paste for sending to them.

Dear Senator:

The institution of marriage is under attack.

The Senate Judiciary Committee will meet THURSDAY, Nov. 3 to mark up the "Respect for Marriage Act," as announced by committee chairman, Sen. Patrick J. Leahy (D-VT).

Efforts to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) are in full swing. Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA) introduced the badly named "Respect for Marriage Act of 2011" with the stated purpose, "To repeal the Defense of Marriage Act."

But marriage, as defined in DOMA, is vital to the social
wellbeing of our nation. I urge you to vote against
Dianne Feinstein's so-called "Respect for Marriage
Act of 2011."

++The battle over DOMA is absolutely crucial!

President Obama supports the repeal of the
Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), the federal law which
defines a marriage as between one man and one woman.

By refusing to defend the Defense of Marriage Act
(DOMA), President Obama and his Attorney General are
fueling a dramatic increase in pro-homosexual activism,
including this latest slap in the face of DOMA!

If passed into law, this new attack on marriage will further embolden the
homosexual community to take more ground while they have a sympathetic president and Senate. Believe me, their mission will not stop with this can of worms!

Please stand with America and defend traditional family values.
