The Washington State 2012 GOP Convention was held in Tacoma this year and there was a record breaking turn out for it. People that have never been involved in politics before are now getting involved due to the concern generally felt throughout the population over the FAILURE of our elected officials to do the right thing.
Among other things, there is concern over our national security.
Intelligence
leaks purported by the Obama administration have drawn the concern and
ire from Democrats and Republicans Senators alike.
Combating
Terrorism requires a robust counter intelligence campaign Because of
our anti terrorism effort the following unclassified actions have
occurred.
“At
least 42 terrorist plots targeted against the United States have been
foiled since 9/11. The top five post-9/11 targets include:
1. New York City: targeted at least 12 times.
2. Military targets: targeted at least 10 times.
3. Washington, D.C.: targeted at least 5 times.
4. Diplomats and politicians: targeted 5 times.
5. Religious facilities: targeted 4 times.
Contrary
to the common misperception that most terrorists are illiterate or come
from extreme poverty, studies have shown that terrorists often tend to
be more highly educated and from wealthier families than the rest of the
population of origin. “

Bottom line: Published
accounts in the New York Times of classified operations will be read
and used by the terrorists. Although these articles may make the
administration look tough, these leaks put lives and our security at
risk.
