Tell Washington – No More Child-Killing
"It will have blood, they say. Blood will have blood. Stones have
been known to move, and trees to speak. Augurs and understood relations
have by maggot pies and choughs and rooks brought forth the secret'st
man of blood." (Shakespeare's "Macbeth," Act 3, Scene 4)As reported by The Daily Caller, a Senate resolution put forth by Constitutionalist Utah Republican Mike Lee aimed at investigating and correcting the policies which led to and enabled the illegal infanticide and gruesome abortion practices of Philadelphia child-killer Kermit Gosnell was BLOCKED Monday evening by an "unknown senator" who objected its unanimous passage.
The sense of resolution found so repugnant?
"The sense of the Senate that Congress and the States should investigate and correct abusive, unsanitary, and illegal abortion practices."
Senator Lee's press secretary later identified the senator who opposed the Gosnell hearings resolution as Senator Rich Blumenthall of Connecticut.
"Congress has the responsibility to investigate and conduct hearings on abortions performed near, at, or after viability in the United States, public policies regarding such, and evaluate the extent to which such abortions involve violations of the natural right to life of infants who are born alive or are capable of being born alive, and therefore are entitled to equal protection under the law," the Lee resolution states.
"It is difficult to imagine why anyone would object to a non-binding resolution calling on Congress to investigate these alleged disturbing, horrific, and illegal abortion practices committed by Kermit Gosnell and others," Lee said in a statement.
BUT WE KNOW WHY – because recognizing pre-term babies as human beings deserving of ANY rights or protections would undermine the entire "pro-choice" movement, which ignores conception as the miracle of God and a blessing to be respected and cherished, choosing instead to annihilate innocent life as a threat to so-called women's "rights"!
The depraved objection by dogmatic Leftist Blumenthall was filed against Senator Mike Lee's resolution calling for a review of public policies that led to the bloody and illegal abortion practices of Dr. Kermit Gosnell and others. Lee attempted to "hotline" the resolution on Monday evening, but Blumenthall blocked unanimous passage of the language.
Lee added: "With numerous reports of similar instances surfacing around the country, the need for greater regulatory oversight of these so-called clinics is so plainly obvious it strains the limits of disbelief to think all members of the Senate would not agree. The resolution is simply an affirmation that we as a country – a moral and compassionate society – have an interest in acting to save the lives of innocent women and children, and to prevent these kinds of heinous acts from happening to anyone again."
