2nd week in a row

Praise God!  We had another good day in God's House today at TLBC.  The morning and afternoon sermons  are posted for listening.  Brother Jim Turner read again from Mabel Clement for the Sunday School hour.  This is a story about a young lady back in the 1800's who was raised in a home and town where the only church to attend was what is often called Campbellite.  Mabel visited some family in another town and was saved and baptized as a Baptist.  When she arrived home there was a big stir about her conversion.

At the end of the morning service today, a young man named Blaine Conzatti came forward professing faith in Christ and wanting biblical immersion.  It is the second week in a row that this has happened.  The Lord willing, next Sunday afternoon, we will have two baptisms at a local lake.  Amen and amen.
