TLBC

God is so good to us.  We thank God for His divine presence in our services today at TLBC.  We are coming off a week-long meeting in celebration of our 34th anniversary as a
New Testament Congregation of the Lord Jesus Christ.  We have the eight sermons preached by Elder David Oneal, our guest preacher from Tulsa, Oklahoma in another post on this BLOG.  Attendance in our services was in the mid to high 30’s with several coming down from the South Park Missionary Baptist Church in Seattle and the Bible Believer’s Baptist Church in Naples, Idaho.

I want to thank all those who prayed for my daughters this week.  Both of our girls had major surgery this week and are now home recovering after all went well in their operations.   We have seen elderly members and friends recover from illnesses in answer to our prayers.  There was even a childbirth and all went well with that.  Our adult Bible Study teacher for our Sunday school hour took a bad fall by the side of the road on the way home Friday night when he stopped and got out of the car to help at the scene where a woman hit a deer.  In spite of the trauma he experienced and the pain he was in, Brother Turner was able to attend church with us today.  Amen.

Another thing that happened this week was the news that came in from Mindanao of the passing of our dear Missionary, Elder Cresencio Baldemor.    This news inspired our messages in the morning preaching and teaching hours.  Click here
