Friends, The staff at SHIFT have been hard at work researching and writing about important stories the mainstream media refuses to cover. They don’t seem to like to look too deeply into the activities of their friends on the left, so it’s up to us to get the word out. Yesterday, we published everything we know about King County Councilmember Larry Phillips using taxpayer resources to help his friends campaign for a $60 car tab increase and a sales tax increase. He apparently isn't anxious for the public to know what he's up to, given the way he's taking his sweet time to respond to public records requests about his dealings with his pro-tax hike campaign buddies. We believe this is the type of information that everyone needs to know. We also believe they are hiding more, so we’re going to keep searching and we’ll let you know what we find.
