Stop his PAY

ALERT: GOP Rep. introduces new bill to punish Attorney General Eric Holder. Fax Congress and Demand Action on H.R. 4447!

American Conservative,

A U.S. lawmaker recently devised a new way to get rid of Attorney General Eric Holder:terminate his salary.

U.S. Representative Blake Farenthold (R-Tx.)- also a co-sponsor of House Resolution 411to impeach the U.S. Attorney General - introduced the "Contempt Act" this month to eliminate the salaries of "any officer or employee of the Federal Government who is in contempt of Congress."

With Holder having been held in congressional contempt since 2012, this bill would force him to resign... that is, unless he wants to go down in history as the first volunteer Attorney General of the United States.

Humor aside, as Holder has committed acts that no American citizen could ever get away with, it's time for Congress to join Rep. Farenthold and sever Holder's pay entirely.

With lawmakers back in D.C. this Monday, the time to flood congressional offices with grassroots appeals is now!

Tell lawmakers to kill Holder's salary!

Take Action! Tell the United States Congress to PASS H.R. 4447 and DEFUND Eric Holder's salary and the salaries of ANY and ALL public servants held in congressional contempt!

** Also, don't forget to add your name to our no-cost petition here.
Rep. Farenthold introduced this bill upon the idea that American taxpayers "should not be footing the bill for federal employees who stonewall Congress or rewarding government officials' bad behavior."

Farenthold is right: Holder absolutely does not deserve a penny from taxpayers!

"If the average American failed to do his or her job, he or she would hardly be rewarded," says Farenthold. "High-ranking government officials should be treated no differently than everyone else."

Having obstructed justice, aided money laundering operation, and furnished Mexican drug lords with American weapons - which led to the death of Border Agent Brian Terry - Eric Holder shouldn't be in office. (He should be serving time!)

Short of impeaching the Attorney General (which is also in process), Congress needs to defund Holder's pay and thereby force his resignation.

Eric Holder is already the first U.S. Attorney General to ever be held in congressional contempt, let's press lawmakers to also make him the first to be removed from office!

Mobilize now and tell lawmakers to cut Attorney General Eric Holder's pay by passing the Contempt Act...

Take Action! Tell the United States Congress to PASS H.R. 4447 and DEFUND Eric Holder's salary and the salaries of ANY and ALL public servants held in congressional contempt!
