“Ben Carson is warming to the idea of running for president. Since the famous brain surgeon retired last year from Johns Hopkins Hospital, he’s been speaking around the country to enthusiastic audiences. And, they’ve affected his thinking about seeking national office.”

From the very beginning, Dr. Carson has said he will run only if the American people clamor for him to do so, and if he feels that God is calling him to run.

According to a blog post by Fred Barnes at The Weekly Standard, this is what he said about being called to run...

Interviewed this week, Carson said he’s “starting to feel it. Because every place I go it’s unbelievable.” One lady “really touched me the other night ... She just kept clinging to my hand and said, ‘You have to run. You have to run.’ And so many people tell me that, and so I think I’m starting to hear something.”

Clearly, Dr. Ben Carson is hearing the American people calling him to run for President of the United States.

Make no mistake about it...

If there is one thing the left cannot tolerate at all, it’s a black man running as a conservative candidate for President of the United States.

Who can forget how they brutalized Herman Cain?

Dr. Carson knows how mean and nasty he and his family will be treated. Here is what he said to Fred Barns...

“It’s a daunting thing... I know how vehemently the left will come after you, try to destroy you, try to destroy your family. But at the same time I recognize that people like Nathan Hale - he said, ‘My only regret is I have but one life to give to my country’ ...And if everybody runs for the hills because they’re afraid that somebody is going to attack them or their family, then [the left] will have won.”

Ben Carson has the courage to run, and the talent needed to win.

That’s not just speculation.

In 2012 Herman Cain found out something shocking.

Cain’s internal polls showed that he was not only winning more than 40% of the black vote, but also more than 60% of the Hispanic vote!

Only 17% Needed!

The fact is that if any Republican candidate for President receives more than 17% of the black vote, no Democrat candidate for President, even Hillary Clinton, can win the White House.

The only explanation for the support that Herman Cain received is that both black and Latino voters identified with his rise from poverty to success.

While Herman Cain is a respected businessman, Dr. Ben Carson is a legend in the African American community.  For many, many years black children have learned the amazing story of Ben Carson’s rise from dire poverty to becoming a world renowned neurosurgeon.

And, virtually every black family has watched the movie, Gifted Hands, starring Cuba Gooding, Jr., that tells the life story of Dr. Ben Carson.

Not only will Ben Carson win, he’s likely to do it in a landslide.
