You’ve been hearing from us a lot at Shift WA recently about Jay Inslee’s plans to increase gas prices by $1.17 per gallon. We’ve set a goal of raising $10,000 this month to help us educate Washingtonians about Inslee’s plan, because if people know the truth Inslee can’t get his way.
We must be doing something right, because we have been on KIRO-FM, KVI, and KGMI to talk about Inslee’s gas increase — which he wasn’t too thrilled about.
The governor has dispatched some of his flacks to spin more lies. David Postman, a former respectable journalist, said that we are “dedicated to attacking the governor.”
Postman said a lot of things that we addressed point by point in an article yesterday, but let’s address his charge of attacking the governor. That’s not our mission. Our mission is to shift the debate in Olympia by putting a spotlight on the excesses of the liberals who have been running state government for a generation.
Unfortunately for the Inslee Administration, their lack of transparency and lies are why we are spending so much time on this. If not us, then who? Someone must hold government accountable.
