Larry!  See If You Agree With Me… It Sure Sounds Like… Ben Carson Is Running For President! This is just out from The Weekly Standard.com… The headline reads… Ben Carson Moves Toward Presidential Run It reads in part… Ben Carson is warming to the idea of running for president.  Since the famous brain surgeon retired last year from Johns Hopkins Hospital, he’s been speaking around the country to enthusiastic audiences.  And, they’ve affected his thinking about seeking national office. From the very beginning, Dr. Carson has said he will run only if the American people clamor for him to do so, and if he feels that God is calling him to run. According to a blog post by Fred Barnes at The Weekly Standard, this is what he said about being called to run… Interviewed this week, Carson said he’s “starting to feel it. Because every place I go it’s unbelievable.” One lady “really touched me the other night … She just kept clinging to my hand and said, ‘You have to run. You have to run.’ And so many people tell me that, and so I think I’m starting to hear something.” Dr. Ben Carson feels God and the American people calling him to run for President of the United States. And, just like that lady who “touched” him, you have played a huge role in moving Ben Carson to the verge of running for President. This is what you and I have been working toward. This is why we have been down on our knees praying. It is exhilarating, but it’s also sobering. If there is one thing the left cannot tolerate at all, it’s a black man running as a conservative candidate for President of the United States. Who can forget how they brutalized Herman Cain? And, Dr. Carson knows how mean and nasty he and his family will be treated.  Here is what Fred Barnes wrote in the same article… Carson said he has no illusions about running.  “It’s a daunting thing,” he told me. “I know how vehemently the left will come after you, try to destroy you, try to destroy your family.  But at the same time I recognize that people like Nathan Hale—he said, ‘My only regret is I have but one life to give to my country’ …And if everybody runs for the hills because they’re afraid that somebody is going to attack them or their family, then [the left] will have won.” Larry, you and I have reached a new point in our campaign to nominate and elect Ben Carson as the next president of the United States. We can’t leave anything to chance.  We need to keep encouraging Ben Carson to announce as a candidate for President, and we have to prepare to do battle in the trenches. This has been an uphill battle from the very beginning, and it is still an uphill battle.  Don’t forget, Sheldon Adelson, the gambling multi-billionaire is sitting in Las Vegas, ready to spend $100 million on behalf of Jeb Bush or Chris Christie. And, we can’t ignore the fact that far left billionaire, George Soros, is already in Hillary Clinton’s corner. But, thanks to you, Larry, we have a leg up on the other Republican contenders and even on Hillary Clinton. We are already building a grassroots organization in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina and North Carolina. And, more than 10,000 Americans from coast-to-coast have signed on as volunteers to walk the precincts, make telephone calls, knock on doors, put up signs, and do whatever it takes to elect Ben Carson as the next President of the United States. On Monday, May 19 our second wave of ads will start airing on the Rush Limbaugh Show.  Over the course of the next two weeks these ads will be heard by more than 20 million Americans. These ads cost more than $100,000.
