Use the Inslee Increase Calculator

Larry -

We created the “Inslee Increase” calculator to help you determine how much money Inslee’s disastrous carbon tax policies will cost your family if he has his way. We hope you will share it with your friends on Facebook to help us get the word out.

But we can't stop with sharing on Facebook, we need your help to get the word out to all Washingtonians. Your contribution of $3 or more will let us reach over 1,000 people online. Inslee won't get his increase if people know the truth.
Our goal is to reach 3 million people with the truth about Jay Inslee's extreme environmental agenda. To do that, we need to raise $10,000. Please make a contribution today to help us reach our goal.
Inslee has already started using all of his resources, both in the governor’s office and his political campaign, to push his extreme agenda. We included the email he sent to his campaign backers below so you can see for yourself!
The only way we can fight back against Inslee’s bully pulpit is withyour generous contribution. We don’t have the benefit of your tax dollars like Inslee does; we rely on donations from supporters like you to get the truth out.
According to the Washington Policy Center, The Inslee-style cap-and-trade system was notorious for its failure in Europe and resulted in widespread manipulation and cheating. His executive order also relies on outdated and extremely inaccurate work by the University of Oregon about the impact of climate change on Washington State.
The only way we can make sure people know about Inslee’s extreme environmental agenda is with your help.
Larry, can we count on you today?
Best,
Matthew, Josh and the rest of the Shift Team

P.S. Without the help of supporters like you, we won’t be able to get the truth out. Please help us reach 3 million people with a donation of $3 or more today.

Dear Supporter,

I'm announcing a bold new step for our state -- a step that shows just how serious I am about taking action on climate in Washington.

Today, I issued an executive order that addresses everything from clean fuels and carbon emissions to energy efficiency and coal-by-wire.

One of the reasons I ran for office -- and why so many of you joined my campaign -- is that I believe that we have to be willing to stand up for what's right when the time comes. And that time is now.

Will you stand with me in fighting carbon pollution? Click here to declare your support for a market-based program to curb carbon pollution and promote clean energy in Washington by signing my petition.

This executive order sets us up to be among the first states to implement a comprehensive program to curb carbon pollution and promote clean, renewable energy strategies that ensure good jobs for workers today and clean air and water for our children tomorrow.

We have the chance to not only act at a critical time, but to set an example for other states and for leaders around the world. Today's executive order gives Washington the opportunity to set a historic precedent that will allow other states to follow us into a clean energy future.

I'm taking a stand -- for Washington, for our children, and for our grandchildren -- and I want you to stand with me.

Over the course of the year, my administration will work with state and industry leaders to establish carbon limits and find other solutions to the climate crisis. We'll decide how to stimulate growth of clean energy technology, reduce emissions produced by state agencies and our transit system, and increase energy efficiency. We'll even start the process of weaning our state off of coal-fired electricity completely.

Our goal is ambitious, but simple: To preserve our environment for future generations. And we'll find these solutions together -- the Washington way.

But because this order could shape the national debate over climate action, we have to show that a clean energy future is what people want and what we can deliver.

That's why I need your support now. By signing my petition, you can show that you're not just standing with me today -- you can show that you'll continue to fight for strict limits on carbon pollution, and beat back the opposition before they even get started.

Tell the world where Washington stands. Click here to declare your support for reducing carbon pollution in our state.

Here in Washington, we don't wait for others to solve our problems -- we lead -- and we can inspire other states to take their own ambitious actions to solve the climate crisis before it's too late.

I'm ready to take on the challenge of moving Washington into a clean energy future -- but I can't do it alone. Thanks for standing with me.

Very truly yours,

Jay Inslee
