Wake up Michigan

There was a disturbing news report from The Week which warned that Republicans might risk blowing the chance to retake control of the U.S. Senate.  Here was the headline:

The article cited races where Republican candidates previously held leads in the polls, but now trail.  One race that is particularly troubling is the U.S. Senate race in Michigan.

Previously, Conservative Republican Terri Lynn Land held a 2% lead.  But after Democrats spent millions of dollars smearing Terri Lynn Land, the las FIVE polls have shown liberal Democrat Gary Peters with the lead:

Our team at the Conservative Campaign Committee has been preparing our own TV ad campaign to respond to the Democrat Party's attacks on Terri Lynn Land.

We are highlighting Gary Peters liberal record while in Congress including support for the most radical portions of Barack Obama's agenda including higher taxes, higher deficits and Peters' repeated support for the ObamaCare health care scheme.

Most notably, we are going to highlight the fact that Peters' policies are the same policies that caused the downturn in Detroit's economy and that it is time for Michigan to have a U.S. Senator who will work to create a climate conducive for economic growth, prosperity and job creation.

We have sent campaign operatives into Michigan on two occasions already and are preparing to send another delegation to work on the ground to win this race for Republican Terri Lynn Land.

We must raise the funds for our new television ad campaign informing voters of just how liberal Gary Peters is, and Peters' shameless support for ObamaCare.

To fund production of our first TV ads we still must raise $6,155.
