"Isn't it convenient for the Obama Administration that the IRS now says it has suddenly realized it lost Lois Lerner's emails requested by Congress and promised by Commissioner John Koskinen? Do they really expect the American people to believe that, after having withheld these emails for a year, they're just now realizing the most critical time period is missing? … If there wasn't nefarious conduct that went much higher than Lois Lerner in the IRS targeting scandal, why are they playing these games?" – Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight Committee
URGENT
ACTION ALERT: Recently we learned Nikole Flax, a top IRS deputy whose
sensitive emails disappeared in the infamous agency "computer crash,"
was assigned responsibility to "spin" Congress on the IRS's targeting of
rightwing nonprofit and Tea Party groups.
Flax
ALSO was a very frequent visitor to the White House, right up to
virtually the day the IRS scandal broke. There is waaaay more than a
smidgen of corruption sticking to "point person" Flax, the go-to answer
person as questions began to be raised about Obama's nefarious sabotage
plot against the conservative grassroots. We say, unless they come clean
as state's evidence, INDICT and JAIL them ALL!
According to 2012 emails not
"lost" and obtained by Congress, Nikole Flax served as ex-IRS nonprofit
division head Lois Lerner's point person for "c4 stuff"; those
responsibilities including emailing "affirmative messages" to officials
if she approved of their responses to questions about the targeting,
reports The Daily Caller.
"Regardless whether language
has previously been approved, NO responses related to c4 stuff go out
without an affirmative message, in writing from Nikole," Lerner wrote in
a July 24, 2012 email to IRS officials INCLUDING Holly Paz, Lerner's
Washington-based supervisor whose emails were likewise CONVENIENTLY
obliterated in the "computer crash."
Interestingly, Lerner's wing-woman Nikole Flax made 31 visits to the White House between July 12, 2010 and May 8, 2013, according to White House visitor logs; The DC notes: "Flax's
visits started in the early days of the IRS targeting program and ended
just two days before the IRS scandal broke on May 10, 2013." My, my –
again, those weird coincidences of timing that characterize this scandal
are just soooo convenient.
