...Pants on Fire.

Team –

We expose liberal lies and broken promises here in Washington State — there’s a lot of them.

With the 2014 mid-term elections fast approaching, liberals are engaging in unbelievable attempts to cover-up their support for unpopular policies. Voters don’t like what they’ve been selling....  the primary election results made that very clear.

It’s unlikely that the liberals will gain control of the State Senate and its possible conservatives can gain control of the State House. But only if we keep the heat on the liberals and make them defend their absurd policies.

Chip in today to help us keep the heat on. Every dollar helps and can help us stop the $1.17 gas tax increase or another liberal attempt at a state income tax.

Speaking of trying to hide unpopular policies, perhaps the most outrageous attempt is by Frank Chopp, the Olympia House Speaker. Now, we must admit that seeing Chopp have to actually campaign for the first time in a decade due to a challenge by one of Kshama Sawant’s Socialist buddies is amusing. That said, the claims in his campaign materials are nothing short of laughable.

Chopp is claiming his undying support for higher education tuition freezes—a popular policy implemented by the Senate Majority Coalition Caucus (MCC). There’s one important problem with Chopp’s claim: it’s a bald-faced lie.

Far from supporting tuition freezes, House liberals attempted to undo the MCC’s hard work in the 2014 supplemental budget. Exposing his lie with facts, SHIFT is working to hold Chopp accountable.

We can do all the research and write all the stories, but without you, no one will hear them.

If you want all Washingtonians to hear the truth, please chip in $3 or more right now so we can meet our end-of-month expenses and head into September ready to broadcast our message.

Thank you for your continued support!

- Josh, Matthew, Alyssa and the rest of the SHIFT WA team
