Appeals Court Rules Against Marriage

Late Thursday, the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals struck down marriage law in Wisconsin and Indiana.

Julaine Appling, president of Wisconsin Family Action, said she was disappointed, but not surprised by the decision.

“We knew we had the most liberal panel of judges on the 7th Circuit,” she said. “When they denied the state’s request to have the case heard before all ten judges on the court, we pretty much knew what to expect.”
