God Reigns

What a thrill and a blessing it is to meditate on the
greatness of our great God. Believers
cannot help but rejoice when they have their eyes on God. The message today is a simple message. We want to magnify our Lord and acknowledge
that HE is King of Creation. If we do
that today, in spite of all the trials and tribulations we are finding
ourselves in, and in spite of all the evil that is all around us in this wicked
old world, we can be encouraged today because “Our God Reigns.” That will be the title of the message and our
three little points will be the first three words of our text. The - LORD - reigneth...
He is THE (definite article) one and only true and living
God. Ps.97:1.
1. In
the O.T.: Gen.1:1, Ex.20:3, Num.23:19, & Dt.32:4.
2. In
the N.T.: Mk.12:32, & Jn.17:3.
3. Over
all Creation: He is not a god of wood,
stone, metal or man’s imagination.
Ps.97:1-7.
He is LORD.
(capitals) The covenant keeping
God of the Bible. Ps.97:1.
1. In
the O.T.: Dt.4:39, 10:14&16, 32:8, & v39 & v43.
2. In
the N.T.: Rev.11:17 & 19:1-6.
3. Over
the quick and the dead: Rom.14:7-9.
(1) HE
will judge the saved. Rom.14:10-12.
(2) HE
will judge the unsaved. Rev.20:10-12.
(3) HE
will reign over Zion and all
creation. Ps.97:8-12.
He REIGNETH.

3. Over
all creation. Ps.24:1..
(1) HE
reigns in creation. Ps.24:2-3.
(2) HE
reigns in salvation. Ps.24:3-6.
(3) HE
does not knock for permission to enter.
Ps.24:7-10. AMEN!
Conclusion: Praise
God! Hallelujah! Our God REIGNS! He needs no permission to do HIS perfect will
according to HIS good pleasure. He does
not knock on doors and wait for them to open from the inside. NO. No. no.
HE is the King of Glory! When He
speaks by the power of His might, the gates and doors open - and the King of
Glory SHALL come in. Our God Reigns!
