Saying NO to the elite

Real Americans

The current resident of the White House treats the rule of law as a rule of thumb.  However, he is not the only problem.  When he leaves office, there are plenty of others LIKE him.  They are waiting in the wings ready to continue where he leaves off.  We must renew the American Idea.  What is that?  In short, it is self-government under the rule of law.  Our American founders declared that government is legitimate only when and if it secures certain unalienable God given rights for the people.  They announced for the first time in human history that the best government rests on the consent of the governed and they proved it by their example.  Along with America’s Birth Certificate, (The Declaration of Independence) our founders gave us a blueprint for a free society (The Constitution) and a set of principles (The Bill of Rights) for a free people of Godly character to keep us on the right path as a nation.

The founders believed that Godly people could govern themselves without the heavy-handed arm of unchecked tyrannical power. They favored a limited government and a republic of free trade in a robust society.  Today’s politicians however, continue to push more and more for their scheme of elite bureaucrats ruling through some centralized body of power.  With the aid of their allies in the media, modern socialists promote propaganda insinuating that everyone rejects the American Idea.  That is certainly not true.  Real Main Street, down on the farm Americans have never consented to have their lives micromanaged by the government.  Real Americans actually side with the founders of America when it comes to the blueprint and principles for our nation.  Real Americans, after some rational thought about things, understand that the blueprint and principles we have from our founders shall never need to be fundamentally changed.  That is what sets us apart from all the rest of the world in political history.  We must not allow ourselves to drift back down to the mess we came out of in 1776.
