This is a DEFCON 4 Election Emergency for the Pro-Life Cause.
That's why your National Pro-Life Alliance is furiously working on our Election Mobilization Program.
You see, Election Day is just a couple weeks away and the pro-life movement stands at the crossroads.
Historians may one day call this the watershed election of a generation.
Never before has a more militantly pro-abortion President occupied the White House.
Never before has the federal government imposed such murderous abortion policies. So-called "ObamaCare" opened the floodgates for millions of abortions to be financed with our tax dollars.
The Obama Administration is determined to coerce virtually every church, charity and hospital to commit abortion atrocities against the dictates of their own consciences.
On the other hand, never before has the backlash run broader or deeper.
Never before have so many Americans petitioned Congress to enact the Life at Conception Act which would end-run the Supreme Court's infamous Roe v Wade decision and protect every unborn citizen.
And never before have so many Congressmen and Senators signed on as cosponsors!
Your National Pro-Life Alliance has developed the most effective, tested and PROVEN mobilization strategy and program in history – and we have never been in a stronger position to successfully execute it where we can literally change the course of the nation.
Here's why:
1) In states where vulnerable pro-abortion Senators and Congressman are facing re-election, the pro-life issues could single-handedly determine the outcome of the election.
2) With this being a mid-term election, all eyes are focused on a handful of states with the closest U.S. Senate elections.
Exactly the states where your Pro-Life Alliance has methodically identified, recruited and mobilized hundreds of thousands of new members.
One thing is crystal clear – the positions of the winners of a handful of 13 key targeted U.S. Senate races will determine victory or defeat for the pro-life cause for decades to come.
Our program makes the difference between victory and defeat when adequately funded and implemented.
One of the best examples of the effectiveness of our program was Idaho's 1st Congressional District in 2010.
I love this example of how well our tried-tested-and-proven program works because it so clearly demonstrates the power pro-lifers can have for the pro-life issue when expertly mobilized.
They say "success has many fathers" and in most cases election victories depend on many different issues.
But in Idaho's First Congressional District, your National Pro-Life Alliance was virtually all alone.
The pro-life Republican candidate (Raul Labrador) had never held elected office, had in fact never before run for office.
When his support for the Life at Conception Act helped lift him to victory in the primary, a stunned Washington Establishment reacted with a combination of surprise and disdain.
The National Republican Congressional Committee announced they were pulling out of the race and withdrawing their support.
His Democrat opponent, incumbent Congressman Walter Minnick, was universally considered to be "unbeatable" so most Washington organizations figured since they couldn't beat him they might as well fall all over themselves to join him.
The state and national Chambers of Commerce, the National Federation of Independent Businesses, the National Rifle Association, and even the Tea Party Express endorsed Congressman Minnick.
But we knew the power of the pro-life issue in that Congressional District.
We had identified and recruited nearly 14,000 pro-life households in that Congressional District.
And we knew that Congressman Minnick had not only refused to sponsor our Life at Conception Act, he had voted not once -- not twice -- but four times to pay for abortions with federal tax dollars.
The bottom line is that the pro-life candidate who started out over 30 points behind in the polls and who virtually all the experts were convinced hadn't a prayer, won that election by almost 10 points -- pretty close to a landslide.
The program worked spectacularly all over the country.
Ultimately, pro-life Senate candidates were elected in six out of the eight Senate seats we targeted and in 38 out of 55 of the targets in the House of Representatives.
Of course, the pro-life issue was just one issue in many of these districts but it was a blowout for pro-life candidates.
The Pro-Life cause picked up at least 80 seats in the House of Representatives alone in 2010, the biggest pro-life gain since the Supreme Court legalized abortion in 1973.
And in 2012, the Pro-Life movement won in 91 of 102 targeted districts.
Now, we are expanding our program as exponentially as our funding will allow.
In the next couple weeks, with your help we are prepared to unleash the largest pro-life mobilization program in the history of the pro-life movement in the key states that will decide who will control the Senate and the House of Representatives.
It's a massive undertaking:
--- Targeted TV, radio and print ads from coast to coast.
--- More than three million personal letters to the most dedicated and
active identified pro-lifers in the targeted states around the nation exposing the pro-abortion politicians like Barack Obama.
--- Tens of thousands of targeted telephone calls alerting carefully
selected pro-life citizens to the Life or death positions of their elected representatives.
--- Hundreds of thousands of emails spotlighting candidates who refuse to
support the Life at Conception Act.
--- Specially designed internet banner ads and videos on the computer
screens of likely pro-life supporters as they surf the web in the targeted swing states.
Thanks to your faithful support over the years and
again this year, we have almost reached the finish line. But I must raise at least an additional $43,000 in the next 72 hours to complete the bare-bones version of this program in all our targeted states and Congressional Districts.
That's why I hope you will make an extra generous emergency contribution right now, today in fact, to help us finish strong in these final days of this watershed election.
Given the gravity and the urgency of our situation as we enter the final election countdown, if at all possible I hope you will consider chipping in.
Every hour and every day between now and November 4 is critical.
Please help us "put the pedal to the metal" in the final lap of the race to the finish line this November.
Sincerely,
Martin Fox, President
National Pro-Life Alliance
