At the eleventh hour of the second special session in Olympia, Governor Inslee and the Democrats are going to shut down state government.
The GOP-led State Senate finished its work on the budget on time, voting on April 6 to approve a budget that fully funds education and cuts college tuition by an average of 25% – without raising taxes!
The House Democrats today finally released their budget plan - a budget that blocks Republican efforts to reduce college tuition.
Call Governor Inslee and the Democrat legislators listed below to tell them: “Don’t shut down the government! Reduce college tuition! Pass the Republican ‘no new taxes’ budget.
Governor Jay Inslee - (360) (360) 902-4111
