Tell the Oly GOP to stand firm

Tuesday, June 9th, 2015

Tell Republicans:  don't fall for the Democrats' tax trap
 -- reject all tax hikes

Democrats in Olympia know that every one of their house and senate members have been branded "TAX RAISER".  Ever since Jay Inslee got elected Governor, every Democrat in Olympia has been going whole hog trying to increase taxes.  Voters completely repudiated the Democrats last November and unless something changes, it'll happen again in 2016.

That's why the Democrats are so desperate to get the Republicans to join them in raising taxes -- any taxes.  It doesn't matter how much or on whom -- they just need the GOP to give them political cover.  In the 2016 election cycle, they wanna be able to say:  "Don't blame us, both parties raised taxes."
Which means no more Republican gains in the state house, a loss of control in the state senate, and a reelected Democrat governor.

It's a total trap. We need everyone to tell Republican Senators and House members not to fall for it.  Below are the email addresses for Republican legislators (both Senate and House).  Send them an email, preferably RIGHT NOW.  Write something like this (feel free to add more, tell 'em how you feel):  "Don't fall for the Democrats' tax trap.  If any of you vote for tax increases -- any tax increases -- you'll be doing exactly what Democrats want and Inslee needs: giving them political cover for their tax hiking agenda.  In 2013 and 2014, you were the we're-not-gonna-to-raise-your-taxes Party.  The voters rewarded you, giving you more seats in the state house and state senate.  If any of you vote to raise taxes this session, you guarantee Inslee's reelection and taxpayers will suffer.  Voters don't want taxes raised on anyone.  Don't fall for the Democrats' tax trap."

Cut and paste the following email addresses into the "bcc" line.

Informational emails like this are helpful when fighting against the Democrats' tax hikes.  But really, the most effective way to ensure permanent protection from Olympia's insatiable tax appetite is by helping us get the 2/3-For-Taxes Constitutional Amendment Initiative on the ballot.  I-1366.

We are agonizingly close to qualifying.  We have just the final weeks and days of June to raise the money necessary to collect the required signatures.

Success is the only option with the signature drive for I-1366.

Please help us make it happen.

If you support our efforts to protect taxpayers and you want to help ensure the success of I-1366, our 2/3-For-Taxes Constitutional Amendment Initiative, please send us a donation for $10, $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, $1000, $2500, $5000 or more (there are no limits on how much can be given).  You can go to our website right now - www.VotersWantMoreChoices.com and make a secure on-line contribution by PayPal or VISA or M/C.  OR, you can print this form, fill it out, and return it with a check or credit card information.

 Thank you.
