Pray for Brother Lloyd dealing with stage 4 cancer.   He is in Texas now and being ministered to by Hospice.  Praying for Penny's daughter Rose with final stages of cancer.  Praying for Bro. Skip & Sis. Teresa and her Dad with his failing health.  Answered prayer  for the Turners with their car repairs after the trip to Idaho.  Pray for a young man named Gregory that we met at the Idaho Conference.  He needs assurance of salvation.  Praying for Keri King with blood clots in lungs.   Pray for Brother Blaine Conzatti as he prepares to speak at our August FFF (First Friday Fellowship) Meeting.

06 in attendance.    Pastor was out sick yesterday.  It was either a 24hr bug or possibly kick back from all the munchies at the big family picnic Saturday at Ward's Lake Park here in Tacoma.  Feeling better today.  Brother Turner stood in for me and held down the fort for our services.  Several were out in addition to me.  Sister Marion took notes and said the services went very well.  The Sunday School Bible Study was taken from an outline by C.D. Cole on "The Being of God."  The morning sermon was taken from the last two verses of the gospel of Mark.  Hopefully your Bible has these two verses in it.  Unfortunately, some modern Bibles are missing verses 9-20 of Mark Chapter 16.  Can you believe they would leave out the RESURRECTION?  !!!
Mark 16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
Sorry we did not get the audio of these lessons this time.  The afternoon service was canceled.  It was another very hot day.  We are looking forward to a good FFF this Friday with a young man in our congregation named Blaine scheduled to bring the lesson
