Moochers Elect Their King Barack Hussein Obama managed to convince his hordes of freeloaders that the best way to restore America is to finish the fundamental transformation of the country into a welfare state.  Incredible as it sounds, exit polling suggest his supporters voted against Romney primarily because he is rich. The election changed nothing.  The same idiots that haven’t passed a federal budget in four years are still in control of the Senate.  The same Machiavellian race-baiter that divided America into two camps – the have-nots, and the soon-to-have-nots -- gets to live another four years in public housing. The House of Representatives has the same crippled minority of dazed politicos who now have the responsibility for stopping the bleeding before the country hemorrhages to death from it self-inflicted suicidal wounds. Every American will now be forced to pay for contraceptives and abortions for the promiscuous the irresponsible.  Personal responsibility is something that will only be expected of those not on welfare. Gasoline will now permanently rise to levels above four dollars per gallon.  Energy independence is out the window forever. The moochers just sold every American soldier who sacrificed and died in the effort to transform the Middle East over to the Saudis and the Iranians.  Our enemies are now encouraged, knowing that they have a kindred spirit in the Oval Office for the next four years. The Israelis must be horrified. The captains of industry have been replaced by the captains of indolence.  And Big Bird will probably get a Cabinet post in the new Obama cabinet, along with Secretary of Defense Louis Farrakhan, Secretary of the Interior Bill Ayers and Secretary of Health and Welfare Bernadette Dorn. And get used to seeing Sandra Fluke, the 30 year old Harvard student who addressed the Democrat Convention to demand free birth control pills. Noted the Washington Times: "The most disturbing issue of the election was how President Obama managed to win re-election in places like Ohio and Pennsylvania and Michigan by talking about the highly unpopular bailout of General Motors. By taking billions of dollars in hard-earned money from taxpayers during a deep recession and giving it to a couple of huge companies, Obama managed to buy the votes he needed to eke out re-election. Taxpayers remain on the hook to the tune of $25 billion. This is the Achilles heel of a democracy. Politicians simply tax those who do not support them and give the money to those who do. Or give the money to those they would like to have support them. It is the end of the line. Game over." I noted in a recent OL that the fact that forty-seven percent of the country is on some form of federal government assistance and that once that figure crossed fifty-one percent, the Democrat party would never lose another election.  “A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years.” Alex de Tocqueville, 1835 America made it 226 years.  Now, I believe that we’ve crossed that Rubicon. Assessment: “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.” (Romans 13:1-2) The Bible makes it clear that God ordains who will rule according to His own purposes and counsel.  For that reason, one can discern a lot about a nation’s destiny by observing who rules it.   In fact, the Bible says as much. “And He changeth the times and the seasons: He removeth kings, and setteth up kings: He giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He revealeth the deep and secret things: He knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with Him.” (Daniel 2:21-22) “Wisdom” can be defined as “thinking God’s way.”  A study of the Book of Proverbs sets forth the following equation:  “Wisdom plus knowledge equals understanding.” One can “think God’s way” easily enough – just let the Bible be your guide.  But a person that doesn’t have knowledge might believe he is thinking God’s way by seeking an eye for an eye.  A person with understanding applies wisdom plus knowledge and leaves retribution in God’s capable hands. We have the wisdom before us.  Romans 13:1-2 is wise counsel that sets forth knowledge.  The Prophet Daniel’s comments to the Magi wraps the package together for us – once you add wisdom to knowledge, it always yields understanding. And so . . . wisdom first. . .   God ordains rulers according to His purpose and He made the Church subject to them.  Go back up and read the verse again.  I’ll wait. And some knowledge. . . .  God knows what is in the darkness – He knows the future and what He has planned.  Plus the knowledge that He gives wisdom to the wise, for who is wiser than he that first seeks the Lord’s counsel?   So, add the wisdom that dictates that nobody rules without God’s express permission to the knowledge that God knows what He has planned and what emerges is the understanding that Barack Hussein Obama’s re-election is part of a larger Divine Plan. That sounds all Christianese and spiritual and, ummm, painfully obvious, but that’s about as far as anybody takes it.  Ok.  God has a plan.  I got it. The plan is to turn America over to the spiritually blind to navigate the country through its greatest period of turmoil and uncertainty since the Civil War, but instead of giving us another Lincoln, He gave us a Jefferson Davis. Instead of a healer, America re-elected an instigator.   Instead of electing someone to unite us, we elected somebody who has divided us in ways nobody would ever have dreamed possible.  We have the wisdom of knowing that God wanted somebody like that in the White House at this point in history.  We have the knowledge that the person He appointed is an enemy of Christianity and all its trappings.   What understanding does that yield? Suppose somebody strapped you into the back seat of a bus about to drive down a steep, winding mountain road.  You notice that the tires are bald and the windshield is dirty, but those things pale in comparison to your realization that the bus driver is blind and the road has no guardrails. Given that wisdom and that knowledge, do you understand what is about to happen? I am not alone in my stated belief that America could not survive an unrestrained Barack Insane Obama agenda.  Obama will now be in a position to appoint the next three Supreme Court Justices.  He has no political restrictions; he can never run for another office. In short, he can do pretty much anything he wants to do without fear of significant opposition.  He used to seem to not care – now he doesn’t have to.  And God put him there. “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.” (Daniel 2:44) I used to make the point that Obama couldn’t be the antichrist because the antichrist is presumed to be competent. I shouldn’t be so presumptuous.
