URGENT: The National Citizenship and Immigration Services Council (USCIS), the union representing more than 12,000 immigration officers and staff, has come out fighting the Senate "Gang of Eight" immigration bill, S. 744.
However, our biggest fight yet is THIS WEDNESDAY – TOMORROW – when the House Judiciary Committee has an AMNESTY test vote on S.744 DESPITE THE BILL NOT HAVING YET PASSED THE SENATE!
THIS AMNESTY GO-AROUND MUST BE SOUNDLY REJECTED!
MAKE NO MISTAKE: THIS VOTE IS OUR CHANCE TO CUT THE OBAMACRATS' AMNESTY EFFORTS SHORT BUT WE MUST MAKE OUR VOICES – OUR DISSENT – HEARD LOUD AND CLEAR IN WASHINGTON TODAY!
The sellouts and panderers on Capitol Hill MUST get the message that betrayal will NOT be tolerated – THEY NEED TO REJECT S. 744 NOW!
On Monday, Kenneth Palinkas, president of the immigration officers' union, said he was "pleased" to add his name to an anti-S. 744 letter spearheaded by ICE Union president Chris Crane, which to date has been signed by more than 40 leading officials in the law enforcement community!
Palinkas slammed S. 744, arguing in a statement that it "makes the current system worse, not better," and "will damage public safety and national security."
