       Last week, the Obama Regime declared a one-month delay to next year's open enrollment season to purchase health insurance under ObamaCare until after the 2014 midterm elections. As Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) put it: "That means that if premiums go through the roof in the first year of ObamaCare, no one will know about it until after the election. This is clearly a cynical political move by the Obama administration to... keep this program afloat and hide key information from voters."

       The implications of this delay are crystal clear. Barack Obama knows - and has always known - that tens of millions of Americans will lose their health care or see their rates go through the roof when ObamaCare is fully implemented and he doesn't want people to know it until AFTER the 2014 election.

       This latest cynical move simply proves that his rollout of this evil law is no incompetent mistake. ObamaCare's clearly a FRAUD… an evil and cruel hoax that is being perpetrated on the American people and delaying it or fixing it won't stop it. Repeal is the only option.

That play for plausible deniability and willful ignorance on behalf of Obama is exactly what the Obama administration is expecting from the American people – that like blind, trusting, ignorant sheep we will continue surrendering our privacy and handing over our hard-earned money to a tyrannical and corrupt tax system that is incompatible with liberty, to fuel Barack Obama's "fundamental transformation of America."
In the throes of the IRS Exempt Organizations scandal, Obama and his lawless administration have had to more or less admit that since at least 2011 more than 500 conservative groups have been victims of the IRS jackboots and the Obama campaign strategists. Tea Party, patriot, pro-life, pro-Israel, pro-Constitution – anything in opposition to the Obama regime was fair game, and many have been the victims of IRS felony violations of law, including the political leaking of their confidential donor data and other sensitive information.
We now know the roll out IRS "admission" of "mistakes" was the tissue of lies we said it was: that it was not just low-level IRS employees in Cincinnati, that the wrongdoing was not just isolated to a single cohort of Tea Partiers, that political appointees and higher ups were involved. The trail of Marxist thuggery, filth and corruption ranged from California all the way to Washington DC, and those low-level employees have since turned on their superiors saying they were just following orders…
Barack Obama pretended in a big announcement to oust the already scheduled-to-depart acting IRS Commissioner Steven Miller as a show of doing something to contain the cesspool of corruption and abuse of power in his administration amidst the IRS scandal, Benghazi and the AP wiretapping.
And then it broke publicly that Miller was leaving in June anyway – a decision made before the scandal even hit the headlines. And then Lois Lerner, who had Obama's "full confidence," pled 5th Amendment protection against self-incrimination… ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. OBAMA IS A PATHOLOGICAL LIAR EVEN ABOUT HIS OWN LIES.

The opprobrium with which terms like "tax cheat" and "the one percent" are being thrown around and the shrillness in the calls for "pay your fair share" for exorbitant ObamaCare policies tells us what is in store…

And once you become a target of the Obama-run IRS, no court in America can help you. You are at the mercy of politically motivated tax courts created to "oversee" the IRS but which, in reality, already rubber stamp almost all the agency's outrageous and illegal actions.

"There continues to be an ongoing investigation, with many documents yet to be uncovered, into how the IRS systematically targeted and abused conservative-leaning groups," he said in a written statement. "This smacks of the administration trying to shut down potential critics." You read that right: they're STILL trying to shut us down. THESE EVIL TYRANTS AREN'T GOING TO STOP TARGETING YOU AND I -- UNLESS WE FORCE CONGRESS TO MAKE THEM STOP NOW! Ms. Lerner adds, "Cincy should probably NOT have these cases." That's a different tune than the IRS sang in May when former IRS Commissioner Steven Miller said theagency's overzealous enforcement was the work of two "rogue" employees in Cincinnati. When the story broke, Ms. Lerner suggested that her office had been unaware of the pattern of targeting until she read about it in the newspaper. "So it was pretty much we started seeing information in the press that raised questions for us, and we went back and took a look," she said in May... ...It also raises questions about Ms. Lerner's intentions in a separate email exchange she had when an FEC investigator inquired about the status of the conservative group the American Future Fund. The FEC and IRS don't have the authority to share that information under section 6103 of the Internal Revenue Code. But the bigger question is why did they want to? After the FEC inquiry, the American Future Fund also got a questionnaire from the IRS. DID YOU GET THAT? The IRS specifically targeted the applications of Tea Parties and other conservative groups, and directed that they be held up in 2011 in order to come up with an agency policy -- calling them"VERY DANGEROUS"! America was built on the idea that everyone is...special. The Founders believed, no matter who you are or where you come from, you deserve a fair chance.    But when government panders to special interests, it tips the playing field and distorts the rule of law.   Last week's special session was another example of how special interests manipulate our government. Lawmakers scrambled to pass a series of favors for Boeing, hoping to entice the Goliath company to build its 777X jetliner here in Washington. In the end, even a tax break extension wasn't enough to keep the machinists from rejecting their union contract.     We know something is wrong with our state politics when one company is influential enough to prompt special treatment, even a special legislative session, from our elected officials. (Did you see that the same thing happened last December in Oregon-a one-day special session just for Nike?)   Rep. Matt Manweller-a former Freedom Foundation trustee-summarized the problem well: "The fact that we're here today is a tacit admission that there is something wrong in the State of Washington. George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, atheists?!  How is that possible?

  

Of course, that's what revisionist history tells us.  But meeting the real Thomas Jefferson -- the Episcopal vestryman, the man who sang Psalms while working his gardens, and the Christian governor -- is a different prospect altogether.  As Governor, Thomas Jefferson knew that God held in His hands the fortunes of the American Revolution.  In 1779, long before George Washington issued his national Thanksgiving proclamations, Governor Jefferson commended the fortunes of Virginia to the Almighty in Thanksgiving:

By his Excellency THOMAS JEFFERSON, Esq; Governor or Chief Magistrate of the Commonwealth of VIRGINIA. PROCLAMATION. Whereas the Honourable the General Congress, impressed with a grateful sense of the goodness of Almighty God in blessing the greater part of this extensive Continent with plentiful harvest, crowning our arms with repeated successes, conducting us hereto safely through the perils with which we have been encompassed, and manifesting in multiplied instances, his divine care of these infant States, hath thought proper, by their act of the 20th day of October last, to recommend to the several States, that Thursday, the 9th of December next be appointed a day of public and solemn Thanksgiving and Prayer.

Yes, that's "deist" and "atheist" Thomas Jefferson.  Though the history books have maligned Jefferson's character to twist him into something he never was, the revisionists haven't stopped there.  President George Washington, it is claimed, was equally a deist who offered prayers to "Divine Providence" rather than to God, or so goes the argument. 

 

President Washington's 1789 Thanksgiving Proclamation gives a different insight into the heart of this Christian man:

 

By the President of the United States of America, a Proclamation.
 
Whereas it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor-- and whereas both Houses of Congress have by their joint Committee requested me to recommend to the People of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness.

Dear Fellow Patriot, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and the Democrats have just shown how radical and power-hungry they truly are. We cannot and we must not let them get away with this clear abuse of power. Late last week, Majority Leader Reid changed the Senate rules and exercised the so-called"nuclear option" - a tactic that eliminates the minority party's ability to filibuster almost all presidentially appointed nominees. In other words, he has breached 225 years of tradition and radically altered the way the Senate does business to expedite the implementation of his radical big government agenda. In so doing, he has broken the promise he made in 2011 to "oppose any effort in this Congress or the next to change the Senate's rules other than through the regular order." And he did it all so he could silence the voice of Senate Republicans and effectively shut half of the American people - including YOU - out of the debate over whether or not to confirm Barack Obama's political and judicial appointees. With this rule change, Harry Reid has vastly expanded the Democrats' power. They now have carte-blanche to appoint and confirm any radical leftist they choose to almost any position of power in America. And there's only one way to stop them... ... We MUST win back the Senate and restore proper Constitutional order! True, Senator Reid and the Democrats may be able to confirm any progressive that President Obama appoints in the next twelve months, but if we succeed in retaking the majority in 2014 - and I fully intend on doing so – we will show these power-hungry Democrats how principled Senators treat the sacred trust bestowed on them by the Constitution and the American people. Majority Leader Reid needs to feel the repercussions of this power grab. He needs to experience the consequences of defying the natural restraints our founding fathers established. Above all, he must see, sense and know that the American people will not stand for such an abuse of power. And with your help, he will. You see, Majority Leader Reid promised years ago that he was "not talking about changing the filibuster rules that relates to nominations for judges." He gave his word that the filibuster would remain an option for the Senate minority party, and that our voices would not be silenced. And yet, just a few days ago he broke his promise, chose the "nuclear option," and shut Republicans out of the debate completely. Well, the Democrats may have won for now, but their victory will be short-lived. The left appears to have the upper-hand, but I am convinced the American people will have the last word. And soon! With Obamacare's myriad failures becoming obvious to the American people, President Obama's approval rating dropping to a record low, and millions of Americans tragically being stripped of their health insurance, the Democrats' days in power are numbered. With your help, and the help of grassroots patriots all across the country, we WILL take back the Senate next year. We WILL right the many wrongs of this administration. And we WILL begin implementing a conservative reform agenda that will set our nation back on a path to a better, brighter future.
