SHIFT things back

Team —

We set a May fundraising goal of raising $10,000 to educate Washingtonians about Governor Inslee's radical environmental agenda to raise gas prices by over $1 per gallon. Not only did we meet our goal, but we surpassed it by raising $11,070! Thank you for your support!

We have started placing our ad buys, which you should see soon. Our goal is to reach almost 3 million people with the truth about Inslee's plan to increase gas prices. One way you can help is by sharing our gas tax calculator on Facebook and forwarding it to your friends. Encourage your friends and family to sign the petition after they calculate how much the Inslee Increase will cost them.

As if raising our gas prices isn't enough, the radical left is pushing to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour. We recently wrote about the negative impacts the $15 minimum wage is having on the city of SeaTac - we don't want to hear the same thing from workers all across the state, so we're going to fight back. But we need your help if we're going to be successful. Add your name to the petition opposing this job-killing idea.

We have our work cut out for us in the weeks and months ahead, and we need you with us every step of the way. The radical left won't rest so neither can we.

Again, thank you so much for your support.

All the best,

Matthew, Josh and the rest of the Shift WA Team

Seattle City Council passes $15 ordinance- Socialist says harm to economy not quick enough

Seattle's ultra-liberal city council decided that being in the state with the highest minimum wage wasn't anti-business enough - so a special committee took the next step towards blowing by the state's current $9.32 minimum wage to implement a $15 per hour wage law inside the city limits.
