Love Mia

Mia Love Just Fired the First Shot Across the Bow to Obama

If Utah Congresswoman-elect Mia Love has demonstrated one thing, it’s that she is passionately principled and does not mince words when it comes to defending the Constitution. That strong willed courage was on full display during a recent appearance on Fox News’ Fox and Friends.

In response to Barack Obama’s recent announcement that he will implement universal executive amnesty, Love powerfully made the argument that not only is such action not within his authority as President, but that such action is “more like a dictatorship.”

Love states, “This is not about the president. It’s about the American people, and what the American people want the president to do. The American people want Congress to work with the president, want the president to work with Congress so that we can be compassionate, so that we can create a uniform rule of naturalization.”

She continued, “It is Congress’ job under Article 1, Section 8, to create a uniform rule of naturalization, a way in. It should be done line by line, section by section with the input of the public instead of being done by one person. It looks more like a dictatorship when a president is unilaterally making decisions for the American people.”
