He did everything right...so what went so wrong?
Dear responsibly armed American, People in a park heard a man screaming bloody murder over and over again as he was brutally stabbed 47 times... He gave two muggers his wallet, watch, and everything they asked. Yet, here he was screaming in agony while dying a horrible death... What a sad, sad story. Yet, any law enforcement officer will tell you he did everything right... So what went wrong? It's simple... First, he assumed these two scumbags were playing by the "rules." Rule #1 - Don't put up a fight. Rule #2 - Keep your mouth shut and don't draw attention. Rule #3 - Give anything and everything of value immediately without resistance. Rule #4 - You walk away unharmed and live happily ever after... Rules to live by...or "die" by in this case... Second, he failed to recognize when a simple robbery turnedinto a life or death situation and act accordingly... Now, you may be saying to yourself, "If only he had his gun." This assumed concealed carry was legal in this state... But even if it was, this man might not have been able to get to his gun... Reality check: You can't expect violent criminals to play by the rules. They're not going to attack when you're ready and comfortable... As a responsible gun owner, I know you take the safety of your family and loved ones very seriously... Are you willing to bet your family's lives on having your gun or at least being able to get to your gun in every situation? Neither am I... This is why I flew out one of the top unarmed self-defense experts in the world to train myself and 30 of my USCCA employees. I've now made this training available to all USCCA members and subscribers for less than a box of hollow points. This training isn't designed to replace your gun... It's designed to put you in the best possible position to protect your family and loved ones under any circumstances. Best part? It doesn't matter if you're young or old, fit or not fit, martial arts master or have zero fighting experience... There's no reason not to be prepared when you can't get to your gun or criminal scumbags don't play by the rules... It's our duty to protect our family and loved ones - no matter what. Click here to protect your family even when "they" don't play by the rules... As you can see in the image below, I went through the training myself... You may not recognize her from behind in this low resolution preview image, but my wife can be seen taking this special USCCA training as well... In a perfect world, my wife would only need her concealed carry to protect herself and our children when I'm not around... But it's not a perfect world. Give your family what they need in an imperfect world... Take care and stay safe (with and without your gun), Tim Schmidt President | USCCA |
