In a recent interview with POLITICO Schumer said he hasn't yet made up his mind… and even more significant with a key vote hinging on the support of 15 Democrats, Schumer wouldn't say whether or not he would try to influence any other wobbling Democrats.
"Boy, I'm glad I'm not Chuck Schumer, I'll tell ya," POLITICO quoted "a smirking" John McCain (R-AZ). "He's got the toughest vote of his career coming."
Schumer, who is never quiet about where he stands on less divisive issues, admits he has been getting hammered with grassroots petitions and phone calls by the THOUSANDS.

reasons are piling up why ALL 100 U.S. Senators and the U.S. House MUST
resoundingly carry bipartisan REJECTION of Obama's Iran deal…Secretary of State John Kerry just told Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) that the U.S. government will NOT be disclosing to YOU – or any of the American people – the ayatollahs' secret side deals with Obama, other governments, and the U.N.'s International Atomic Energy Agency!
Yet the Obama administration's failure to transmit these side deals to Congress is ILLEGAL. The Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act, which Obama signed into law, explicitly states that the president must transmit the nuclear agreement along with "all related materials and annexes." That clearly covers any side agreements covering the verification of Iran's compliance.
"I'd like to stick with you, Secretary Kerry," Cotton said. "Why can't we confirm or deny the content of these agreements in public? Why is this classified? It's not a sensitive U.S. government document."
"Because we respect the process of the IAEA and we don't have their authorization to reveal what is a confidential agreement between them and another country," answered Kerry.
Cotton then asked, "So the ayatollahs will know what they agreed to but not the American people?"

latest remarks about keeping Americans but not ayatollahs in the dark
comes within days of Kerry's REFUSAL to answer whether or not this Obama
administration would follow the law if there were a successful OVERRIDE
of Obama's VETO – should Congress SHOOT DOWN this deal.Kerry said he couldn't answer a hypothetical question…
But rest assured, folks – hypotheticals are Kerry's specialty!
Kerry PROMISED days ago that Congress would be able to learn ALL ABOUT Iran's secret side deals during a classified briefing held by Team Obama – something that has YET to happen even as the 60-day review process is well underway and Congress is set to adjourn for a WEEKS-LONG recess throughout August!
Kerry, like Obama, CANNOT BE TRUSTED – and neither can IRAN.
Congress MUST REJECT this Iran sellout in VETO OVERRIDE margins, and snap sanctions back in place before it is TOO LATE!
Though the Obama administration unconvincingly claims it doesn't have a copy of the "secret" agreements – but will share the confidential information ASAP – part of the secret has to deal with MILITARY INSPECTIONS in Iran, including inspections relating to Parchin, a military base believed to be PART OF IRAN'S NUCLEAR WEAPONS PROGRAM.
When confronted by Sens. James Risch (R-ID) and Robert Menendez (D-NJ) over whether or not one such "secret side deal" entailed allowing Iran to INSPECT ITSELF – including collecting its own soil samples from suspected nuclear military sites (like Parchin above) to turn over to the IAEA – officials refused to confirm or deny.
Kerry tellingly told Risch that particular "chain of custody" of soil sample detail is "classified."
"That we are only now discovering that parts of this dangerous agreement are being kept secret begs the question of what other elements may also be secret and entirely free from public scrutiny," Senator Tom Cotton, Republican from Arkansas said in a public statement DENOUNCING this deal.
WE CAN'T WAIT TO FIND OUT MORE DETAILS AND HOPE FOR THE BEST – CONGRESS MUST REJECT THIS ALREADY-ILLEGAL DEAL NOW!

When it comes to "anytime, anywhere inspections…
 Kerry
took to the Sunday talk shows last week claiming that the
administration had "never promised anytime/anywhere inspections of
Iranian nuclear facilities"…. Anytime/anywhere, Kerry said on Face the
Nation, "is a term that honestly I never heard in the four years that we
were negotiating. It was not on the table."To the contrary, as recently as April, deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes promised that the Western negotiators were going to secure anytime/anywhere inspections. Energy secretary Ernest Moniz, who sat next to Kerry throughout the Iran talks, also said, "we expect to have anywhere, anytime access" to Iranian facilities. Kerry's lieutenant, Wendy Sherman, was at least forthright when she said that anytime/anywhere was rhetorical overreach. The administration didn't really mean it. Kerry preposterously maintains they didn't even say it. |

According to the terms of the deal, said Kerry, Iran is not
allowed to fund and arm terrorist allies like Hezbollah. Nope, said the
Iranians, correctly, there's nothing like that in the deal. Indeed, the
deal lifts the U.N. arms embargo. Accordingly, Iran's deputy foreign minister Abbas Araqchi said Iran told the Western negotiators that "we will supply arms to anyone and anywhere necessary and will import weapons from anywhere we want, and we have clarified this during the negotiations." |

Kerry denied [that sanctions of Suleimani will be lifted] when
the terms of the deal were first made public. Administration
spokespersons set the record straight, explaining that, yes, U.N.
nuclear-related sanctions would no longer apply to Suleimani in eight
years' time. And yet in a press conference with Saudi foreign minister Adel Jubeir two days after the correction had been made, Kerry still insisted Suleimani was not coming off the sanctions list. |

"When we began our negotiations, Iran had enough fissile material for
10 to 12 bombs. They had 19,000 centrifuges, up from the 163 that they
had back in 2003 when the prior administration was engaged in them on
this very topic," Kerry told Congress. "So this isn't a question of
giving them what they want. It's a question of how do you hold their
program back. How do you dismantle their weapons program? Not their
whole program. "Let's understand what was really on the table here. We set out to dismantle their ability to be able to build a nuclear weapon, and we've achieved that. Nobody has ever talked about actually dismantling their entire program, because when that was being talked about, that's when they went from 163 centrifuges to 19,000." |

The
United Nations Security Council – encouraged and egged on by Obama to
vote BEFORE CONGRESS – has unanimously APPROVED the P5+1 nuke deal to
lift sanctions on Iran and allow nuclear development, so long as Iran
pinky promises not to make a weapon within the next decade and to let
U.N. inspectors in with up to 24 days advance notice.In addition to ALL KINDS OF VITAL CONCESSIONS Iran got in this "deal" lifting U.N.-enforced financial sanctions, IT ALSO RELAXED conventional weapons sanctions, INCLUDING BALLISTIC MISSILE DELIVERY SYSTEMS. "Irrelevant" to the nuclear deal as Obama and Kerry called OUR demands for freedom for our FOUR Americans imprisoned by the Ayatollahs – the U.N.'s vote just rendered null and void a DECADE of hard-fought international sanctions limiting convention weapons.
When queried at his big news conference unveiling "the deal" why there is NOTHING in it addressing the four American hostages being held by Iran, Obama claimed their detainment is a separate issue, and is not properly part of the nuclear agreement.
Clearly, conventional weapons is a separate issue, and not properly part of the nuclear agreement. Conventional, by definition, means non-nuclear. Why in Obama's NUCLEAR accord is the West surrendering to Iran hard-fought arms embargoes on CONVENTIONAL missile systems and other advanced anti-ship weapons that have helped protect our control over the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz?
These are strategic waterways that the United States has kept open for international commerce for a half-century. Iranian imports of sophisticated Russian and Chinese weapons endanger not only our Middle East allies now under threat from Iran and its proxies, but endanger our own naval forces in the Persian Gulf.
Some analysts are saying that regardless of the actions taken by Congress, the U.N. Security Council approval PROMOTED BY OBAMA cancels all previous U.N. resolutions outlawing and sanctioning Iran's nuclear activities.
Which would mean that NO MATTER WHAT Congress ultimately does, the legal undergirding for the entire international sanctions regime against Iran will ALREADY have been dismantled at the Security Council.
As Charles Krauthammer notes, "Ten years of painstakingly constructed international sanctions will vanish overnight, irretrievably…Even if Congress rejects the agreement, do you think the Europeans, the Chinese or the Russians will reinstate sanctions? The result: The U.S. is left isolated while the rest of the world does thriving business with Iran." Congress MUST intervene NOW!
Fifteen months of Obama to go and the "fundamental transformation" president is working to put American sovereignty AND our ally Israel into a death spiral!
America faces DIMINISHING POWER on the world stage, with Congress CEDING its authority over foreign treaties – what Obama these days conveniently calls "Executive Agreements" – and the Legislative Branch ducking its duty in order to escape any but the most superficial semblance of Constitutional responsibilities.
The likes of China, Russian and the anti-Israel Europeans WANT Iran to become "a very successful regional power" – and a very rich one to boot – so the Islamic Republic can buy up all sorts of goodies from them, their fealty included.
Thanks to Obama, WE MUST DEMAND that U.S. Congress CLEAN UP HIS MESS before it's too late.
Congress can STILL REJECT THIS DEAL – and THEY MUST. And then they must move on to REINSTATING SANCTIONS – and very likely ENACTING the wholesale DEFUNDING OF THE ONE-WORLDER UNITED NATIONS that serves the interests of terror states, dictators and demagogues.
Congressional action NOW will form the foundation for the next president of the United States to reconsider and rescind Obama's "Executive Agreement" that endangers us all.
Whether
now or in 15 years, the Islamist Republic of Iran – the enemy of
American since 1979 – cannot be trusted with nuclear capabilities.We have fewer than 60 days from the day Congress receives a copy of the Obama-Kerry sanctioned P5+1 nuclear accord with Iran to REJECT IT with a veto-proof majority if this dirty deal is to be KILLED. This is the only way our now weakened legislative branch can STOP this dangerous agreement and PREVENT Iran from getting the bomb – and TURNING IT ON US!
Already, Obama's acolytes are out in full force TRYING to sell the Iran deal with BALD-FACED LIES.

We now know how the Obama administration and its friends will sell the deal with Iran: lie. Here's Representative Don Beyer, Democrat of Virginia, telling MSNBC why he'll vote for the Iran deal: "Thanks to the Obama administration's negotiations, Iran's nuclear program will be under lock, key and camera 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The eyes of the international community are on every centrifuge, every ounce of uranium, in all of Iran's nuclear facilities." Completely false: "UN inspectors can demand access to nuclear facilities on Iran military sites, but they aren't immediate or even guaranteed. Any inspections at those sites would need to be approved by a joint commission composed of one member from each of the negotiating parties. The process for approving those inspections could take as many as 24 days." |
But as YOUR RESISTANCE is HEARD IN CONGRESS, Obama's support among his own party is DWINDLING and fewer and fewer will be ready to take that loyal leap of support for Obama if WE KEEP THE PRESSURE BUILDING!
Obama's and Kerry's diplomatic prowess is being rightfully SAVAGED by experts, and Obama will have the blood of this bad deal on his hands WHEN – not IF – the Middle East nuclear arms race explodes, and Iran develops and let's fly its nuclear bomb.
Iran's
President Hassan Rouhani celebrated their "victory" in getting the deal
they wanted as an "answer to Iran's prayers" and it's easy to
understand why… because Iran won on every point from sanctions to
inspections to centrifuges and materiel. The world powers have
completely legitimized the nuclear state of Iran.Indeed, as if internationally facilitating Iran's nuclear weapons capability weren't bad enough, in order to make Iran happy Obama has even asserted his support for LIFTING U.N. ARMS EMBARGOES AGAINST IRAN that keep ballistic missiles out of the hands of the Ayatollahs. These missiles are capable of carrying a nuclear payload!
Apparently, as long as Iran doesn't blow Israel off the map on his watch, Obama is willing to institute "j.v." foreign policy that will prove single-handedly responsible for a likely nuclear World War III in the Middle East!
If Obama wanted the "legacy" of "engaging" Iran, he shouldn't have been MIA when the Iranian people took to the streets in their Green Revolution of 2009-2010, rising against the mad mullahs in a popular demand for freedom… instead ONCE AGAIN he has capitulated to the Ayatollahs, and is begging to make a deal to further empower and lock this "Death to America" tyranny IN PLACE INDEFINITELY! Then again, Obama has never wanted a strong, sovereign America keeping dictators and terrorists in check!

10 REASONS CONGRESS MUST REJECT OBAMA'S BAD 'DEAL'
1. NO ACCOUNTABILITY FOR IRAN – Iran was not
required to disclose its previous violations of its non-proliferation
obligations which helps the world powers pretend Iran will abide by this
deal while helping Iran evade future intrusive inspections.
2. NO 'ANYWHERE, ANYTIME' INSPECTIONS
– For access to "sensitive" sites, IAEA nuclear inspectors will have to
request permission from Iran's mad mullahs – permission that can take
up to two weeks to get, if it's granted at all. For "military" sites,
inspectors may have to wait up to 24 days for access buying Iran plenty
of time to hide or relocate the evidence. Concerns will be remedied
through "consultation."
3. THE CENTRIFUGES KEEP ON SPINNING – Iran
gets to keep 6,000 centrifuges operating (twice the number it took for
Pakistan to develop a bomb) and reactors with the caveat that it either
turns off its other 30-some thousand centrifuges and "converts" (not
"dismantles") its plutonium production plant. Similarly, Iran is to
"convert" its underground/impossible to bomb uranium enrichment facility
at Fordow.4. MISSILE DEVELOPMENT CONTINUES – Even long-range. 5. RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT – of faster centifuges (meaning faster bomb development) can commence as soon as the deal goes into effect. 6. THERE ARE NO RESPONSE PROCEDURES – for when Iran violates the deal to ensure it's in time – before Iran drops a bomb. 7. NO CAVEAT AGAINST IRAN'S ARMING, FINANCING OR TRAINING ISLAMIST TERRORISTS – like Hezbollah or anyone else around the globe. 8. IRAN CAN CONTINUE ITS 'DEATH TO AMERICA' AND 'DEATH TO ISRAEL' PEP RALLIES 9. AMERICANS REMAIN IMPRISONED IN IRAN – The Obama administration maintains this is a "separate" issue despite having released Iranians, including nuke scientists and materials smugglers, to bring Iran to the negotiating table.
10. IRAN WILL GET BILLIONS $150 BILLION IN SANCTIONS LIFTED
– and access to the world market to sell its oil, legitimize the
Islamist Republic while funding its military and terroristic endeavors;
laughing its way to the bank, Iran will have all the money it needs to
